First visit and won't be the last. ALL the staff (credit to the managers/owners!) were so friendly and it really made us feel welcome, even providing toys for our toddler. The food was really delicious (roast and burger), and bonus it was relatively cool in the nice old building which was welcome in the heatwave! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Highly recommended. Amazing fresh food. Great menu plenty of tasty meals to chose. Staff attentive, caring and very helpful. Lovely setting by the canal for a walk after. Definitely will be returning again very soon. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We have visited the great Weston arms on lots of occasions and it’s one of our go to places for a roast! The pub has a warm welcoming atmosphere, all the staff are fantastic going out their way to ensure the best dining experience. With us being foodies the food is a big part, and I can confirm you will not be disappointed with the fresh and delicious taste. It’s a must try.

Beef burgers and Caesar salad were excellent. Service was fine. Atmosphere was enjoyable. Just such a shame that a tip of 12 percent is automatically added. Bloody cheek. I would have given 15 percent. But it should be MY choice! ……………………..

had a day off work and chose a country pub about 20 mins from us, as most of our village pubs were closed, so glad we chose this place, had the most amazing burger and my husbands chicken burger was also excellent, plesent service, nice atmosphere, really good food and drinks, will be back soon...

Perfectly located on the country side by the Oxford Canal, the service was fantastic and the food was delicious, probably the best risotto I’ve ever had. I can highly recommend it, but call ahead for a booking if you are a larger company. Not sure what he means, but my son said “This restaurant is very Alpha”…

Disappointing. The room was not as nice as pictured. The bathroom door did not have a working catch (it was missing so no excuse they didn’t know). The tv had sporadic signal - no excuse in these digital days. The mattress was old and soft. There was no wardrobe. Just hooks for clothes. The courtyard view was of the bins. The whole lot needs a revamp and to charge £85 without breakfast is criminal when it was worse than a budget hotel. There was constant noise from banging doors and beware, they allow dogs which bark every time someone comes into the building. The staff are the best part of this place - very friendly. Upgrade the rooms and it would be lovely.

Staying in the area, so Googled and found this place, and gave it a try. Staff were pleasant and helpful, and the pub is a nice atmosphere. However, we order the sirloin steak. It was decent and the drink were ok too. But Very expensive, and certainly not worthy of what this establishment charges. Two drinks, one nachos - £79! And the cheeky sods put a 12 % service charge on. It was ok, but nothing more than pub food. Have to be honest. I felt like we were taken for a ride, so will not be visiting again.
