Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, cleaned room ever day, Breakfast was ok, same as any other hotel nothing special. Shame the orange juice can’t be fresh. Overall nice place to stay.

Nice bartender, LOVELY guy who has shows and stuff. The food is lovely, and the people here are very nice. The room has perfect AC system, so it’s comfortable to sleep at night. The hotel Grows on you.

Arrival: journey was good from the airport- second drop on route which was good due to an evening flight. Arrived at the hotel, lovely and clean greeted with a smile. Took our luggage up to the room and left to get something to eat. Across the road there is a restaurant. Time was around 11pm at night, worried that there wouldn't be anything being served - to our surprise we were able to order anything we wanted. We got kebabs for us and pasta for the kids. 100% the best start to the holiday - fresh meat, cooked well and seasoned to perfection. Staff here are great and george is amazing. All speak perfect English so no language barriers which I know some people fear. Hotel - well maintained and lovely layout and rooms. We stayed in the hotel on the third floor. Great views. 👍 There are 2 lifts for guests and 1 for staff. However everyone was using all three so there isn't an issue here. When we used the service lift a few times and cleaners or maintains we're in it. They Apologies to use and came out to let us use it. As much as we said no no, they insisted we use it. Very polite and friendly staff! Reception - very knowledgeable people, super helpful. We didn't have any issues throughout our stay. But many times we walked past people were always supported and happy. Lots of hello's and good evening's. Karla was super nice, very smiley ☺️ Positive and helpful when I needed to change our timing for food (half board). Please if the hotel read this give her our thanks! A positive for me, while it was rest day for some staff - they choose to come and relax within the hotel - have a drink and pool time with guest. Amazing feeling all around for us. Entertainment - CoCo! This guy is something else! I've been on enough holidays to say this guy loves his job. Such positive attitude and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel relaxed and no pressured into doing anything. He arrived sharp 10am every morning to set up and announce all the activities for the day. Killer pool Darts Water aerobics Ring toss Splash bingo Passing of ballon (shallow end) I can only imagine he has a lot more to play. These are not all done everyday but a mix of 3-4 depending on how many people join in. Vouchers are won for these games - anything that's not on the all-inclusive menu. Music is played around the pool area while he is on site throughout the day. The bar area has its one speakers which also plays music once entertained is done. His energy is always up beat and encouraging to younger and older to take part just cause he makes everyone feel welcome. Evening entertainment - again. Arrives on time. Sets ups get the music going for the kids - let's everyone know again what the acts are on for that evening. Him alone does all the face painting. Ballon making, tattoo's anything at kid wants while they wait he does. Such a one man full of surprises. I recently stayed at Amethyst hotel and spa with my family and overall we had a lovely week! The hotel itself was clean, modern and just a short ride from the centre of Aiya Napa which was good- perfect so we could enjoy the lively atmosphere when we wanted, but far enough for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The all inclusive food was also surprisingly good, with a nice variety of options each day and better than we expected for a buffet. However, above all, the highlight of our holiday was without a doubt the entertainment, all thanks to the entertainer Coco. He was enthusiastic, engaging and incredibly friendly. He had such a way with guest, as he was always full of energy and made guests feel welcome. We also really appreciated how he didn’t pester anyone to take part but always made sure everyone knew what entertainment was being carried out, like the darts, pool games or evening entertainment. It was a perfect balance and overall Coco made our holiday! Thank you Amethyst hotel.

Stayed here june 22nd until July 6th 2025 with my husband and two children aged 19 and 14 and my sons girlfriend aged 18. We stayed in the annex across the street which had its own pool which was handy when wanting a quieter day but mostly we used the pool at the hotel which had a brilliant atmosphere although we did have to get up early to put towels down. Rooms were cleaned daily. The staff were all friendly although it was lacking in entertainment. We only ate here for breakfast which was ok but cannot comment on lunch or dinner. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the waterpark and the beach where we did parasailing, rented jet skis and did the inflatables which everyone loved. It is a short bus ride into the town center which has absolutely everything to offer. I would definitely return here. Ayia napa is a stunning island and if you are planning on going don't miss out on the scuba diving. It's a once in a lifetime experience.
