3-Star Hotels in Ayer Itam

DeView is like my second home whenever I return to Penang to visit my elderly sisters. I have been a regular guest and each time I return I feel so at home here in DeView. Spacious room. Beautiful view of the city and hills on the 5th floor of my room. Good location with lots of food stalls at a foodcourt and coffee shops near the hotel. However the toiletries can be improved especially the quality of the bar soap leaves hand feeling oily after wash and toilet roll is too thin. There is no hand towels place in the room. Each time I return, I have to request for it from housekeeping and not always available. This time of my stay, I was told the Akino Restaurant no longer serve breakfast. I was so looking forward to morning breakfast during my previous stays. Although the spread were limited, but to me it was sufficient for a simple meal. There is a new halal restaurant, Warung Mamak took over the site which serves roti bakar set with 2 half boiled eggs and a cup of coffee. Cheap and good if you are lazy to walk to the nearby foodcourt for breakfast.

The landlord of Datang is Chinese and very nice. The hotel's swimming pool is very beautiful and the stay is very comfortable. It's just that the guests next door who checked in at midnight on weekends are very noisy. The location is far from the city and a bit inconvenient

Good for staying. Close to penang hill and pasar and can enjoy a lot of local food.

I stayed in Penang for 3 days in 3 different hotels. This one is not the most expensive nor the cheapest. The location is OK, but it is strange that the other 2 hotels charged 2 MYR, but this one charged me 10 MYR. I don't understand how it is calculated, as the number of people is the same.

This hotel room service cleaner not service good service , and very bad unfortunately TV also cannot ever watch.... Their said maintenance come next day but not came.... Toilet never cleaned dirty around the wall side ....I suggested please come and have a look and see your self in this guest house......
