A relaxed oasis Great stay, relaxing and clean, hospitality was fantastic loved the pool wonderful restaurant with different spacious rooms enjoyed the spa massage. Best buffet in sigiriya staff is very friendly best hotel in sigiriya I love safaris from here

Dschungelfeeling hoch 10! Es war eine unglaubliche Erfahrung in diesem Hotel tu übernachten. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Der Sound ist einmalig! Essen war super und der Service einwandfrei! Wir können nur jedem empfehlen das Hotel zu besuchen.

This hotel is so beatiful and great view. Reception. Housekeeping and all staff so friendly and everytime smile look. Our room attractive look and clean and tidy as well as high comfortable. Housekeeping staff so helpful and very kind people. Fine foods with we enjoyed throughout our stay. Everyware natural and great view surrounding so many beatiful. We will return definitely and highly recommend this hotel for all of you any vacations. Thanks for everything.

The resort has lovely grounds staff are very accommodating and helpful. Lots of food options and fresh everyday. The Rooms were clean and high ceilings allowed for the room to stay cooler. Pool area is clean and relaxing Would return to this resort on my next visit.

This resort needs an overhaul of management and practices and a facelift . Cashing in on tourists staying close to Sigiyura it has potential but is rundown and disappointing. Pool is great, no real service poolside though. Rooms large concrete jail cells with scratchy tv reception and scant facilities . There a large restaurant with a captive audience ( you can’t go anywhere else unless you catch a tuk tuk into a nearby dodgy town) , food is horrible. The many junior staff couldn’t keep up with the paper receipt system and settling accounts was a disastrous mess . Still rubbing cream into the mozzie bites from this place

Tharindu looked after us well! Great staff, breakfast was good...pool was a great way to spend afternoon, cheap tuk tuk into town if you want to experience town, rooms were spacious and garden setting, could easily come back, all in all nice place to go

Die Hotelanlage liegt etwas abseits in der Natur. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Der Service ist gut mit Luft nach oben, was z.B.das Auffüllen von Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer betrifft. Das Essen findet bei genügend Gästen in Büffetform statt und ist abwechslungsreich. Der Restaurant-Service ist teilweise stockend, was auch an der mangelnden Verständigung in Englisch liegt. Der Restaurant-Manager kümmert sich rührend um die Gäste und gibt auch gute Tips für die Sri Lanka-Reise. Der Pool ist klein, aber sauber. Für 1 oder 2 Nächte ist das Hotel zu empfehlen.

Stayed here recently for 2 nights as part of a Trip A Deal tour. The property looked was reasonably clean with accommodation in blocks of 6-8 rooms with some upstairs. The room we had was quite big with a smallish bathroom all with a polished cement floor which takes a bit of getting used to but is better than you might think. The property had heaps of bugs flying around at night which you would expect in a country location. It is located away from any shops / restaurants. There were many bird / frog sounds at night which I found quite pleasant and relaxing. The pool was cooling and clean. Where it falls down is in its administration. They employ a clunky system to track your expenses and in the morning when trying to settle up they had slips of paper flying everywhere. Most groups had problems with their accounts. Some people in our group had problems in getting the right food / drinks orders, and in some rooms the air conditioning didn't work. Also found it strange they had no coffee sachets in the room. Would probably choose to stay somewhere different if I had the choice.

We stayed in Sri Lanka for the entire month of October, and with just this one exception, the hotels were universally great. However, at the Camellia we encountered: bugs in the room; no room safe; no mini bar; no working television; and ludicrous alcohol prices in the bar. And raising these issues with the front desk did no good, because nothing got fixed during the 3 nights we stayed there. Yes, I know, these are "1st world problems" but the contrast with our other hotels was so striking that I can only conclude that these problems are unique to this hotel.
