Aqi Pegasos Club

Very nice place with nice service and good food, a really large selection of dishes for vegetarians. Greetings to Tarik Erbek - thanks a lot for your service. Whole my family really enjoyed it, especially the kids. I would love to visit again :)

We stayed at the Pegasos Royal hotel (May 2024), but in general the whole resort surprised us very positively, great service, good food, and lots of pools and the beach really right under our noses. It was my first time on holiday in Turkey and we weren’t sure what to expect, but it was really great. For such quality of rooms and service in other places (e.g. Canary Islands) you have to pay much more. Super clean and nice, smiled staff, aand we loved having 24/7 access to fresh water in the fridge. Reception was really nice, nice guy from reception said that we should hurry up for breakfast, and the baggage and checking-in could wait ;) But the best master was Tarik Erbek, he's a team leader of waiters in one of the parts of the restaurant, he surprised us with something every day, non-stop smiles and jokes, and on top of that he always remembered what wine we liked and what drinks for the kids. And of course the same favourite table was waiting for us, regardless of what time we showed up. That's just amazing! If you ever go there, be sure to find Mr. Tarik Erbek and you will have mega-pleasant meals ;)

My first stay in an all-inclusive hotel, and it was an amazing experience! There were plenty of advantages: a) The daytime entertainment program was fabulous. Every day, there were fitness activities (stretching, yoga, cardio) and swimming pool fitness. In addition, there were activities for adults like water polo and various contests! b) The evening entertainment program – Each evening, you could choose from one of three shows to watch. This is a benefit of the complex of three hotels. Every hotel has its own amphitheater, and you can visit any of them, including those with swimming pools! c) The hotel offers plenty of seating in the evenings, both near the indoor and outdoor bars. d) Free games such as archery, boccia, and more. e) A wide variety of food. f) An à la carte restaurant, free to visit once per stay, offering Turkish, Italian, or Asian cuisine. g) The seaside – a 1 km private beach with a pier, and sand underfoot. Three disadvantages: a) People with allergies – The plus is that all dishes are labeled, but there have been cases where allergens were improperly indicated. I’m celiac and more aware of gluten-free restrictions than the cooks. Almost all meat was prepared with gluten, including all sauces. There were no gluten-free soups available. There is a gluten-free stand, but it only offers seeds, bread, and pudding. Gluten-free cakes were available upon request, but they didn’t have cheesecake during my whole stay, so my only dessert options were tiramisu, pudding, or nothing. You can ask for gluten-free pizza (only with tomato) or pasta. For breakfast, gluten-free pancakes were available, but I noticed they used the same pan as for wheat pancakes... . It's a pity that even fries couldntt be gluten-free (they fried them in the same place as breaded snacks (in spite of availabity of two different "pots" - one could be for fries, one for breaed snacks..). All in all, this hotel is better than one where there are no gluten-free options. As I understand the gluten-free products and awaraness is limited in Turkey. I hope it will be better and I could came back in a few years. b) Road to the town – 2,5 km from the town, good for a walk, but you have to walk on the pavement by the loud road... pollution and noise. c) Rooms could use renovation, but everything was cleaned daily :)

We had a mixed experience during our stay. The good: The family room was super comfortable, and the pool and beach facilities were nice. The heated indoor pool was a big hit, especially with our little daughter, but it was so crowded and noisy that we could only use it right before closing time when everyone had left. The buffet was generally good and varied, especially breakfast, although we missed bacon and syrup for the pancakes. The dessert buffet was large, but only about half of it actually tasted good. It was also frustrating to have to pay extra for cold-pressed juice or smoothies. The red and white wine were fine, and the iced coffee was delicious, but the cocktails and other drinks tasted awful – if you want good drinks, you have to pay extra. The bad: The facilities were worn out, and many things were locked away, so you couldn’t just grab a game of pétanque or darts. The entertainment team was enthusiastic, but all the equipment and costumes were old and shabby. The massages got worse with each session, and they always ended 15 minutes early – the last one was outright terrible, and we felt cheated. The service was generally terrible. Most of the staff seemed uninterested and more focused on chatting with each other. Only a few made an effort, and many of them didn’t speak English, which made communication difficult. The restaurant experience in the evening was a joke. The Italian restaurant was the worst – the food was already on the table when we arrived, and everything tasted awful. Frozen pizza, hard bruschetta, and mozzarella replaced with Turkish feta. It was below the standard of the buffet and a total waste of time. Overall, it wasn’t worth the money. While there were some good aspects, they were overshadowed by poor service, worn-out facilities, and disappointing food. We won’t be coming back.
