The Meetings B&B

Room was very warm so we needed to keep window open and our room was directly on the street.

Nice place, nice price I found the Meetings to be nice, quaint, older but very satisfied with the room, host and bed and shower. A few things need attention (loose toilet seat), but it met my expectations and I had a good time here.

Awful place advertised as a bed and breakfast and had no breakfast. Also advertised as a restaurant no food. Staff weren’t great either I felt robbed . It’s like there’s no interest in the place. It’s got great potential but to advertise as a b+b and then try charge €30 for breakfast was hard to take.

What a beautiful place to stay. It is set in the most beautiful scenic location. We had an absolutely wonderful relaxing time here... Lovely spacious, clean room with incredible view over the meetings of the water. Fab comfortable four poster bed. Had a couple of drinks in the bar with the locals and totally enjoyed the craic. Very friendly owners and breakfast was very nice indeed. Restaurant not open but went to lovely restaurant in Rathdrum just 6 km away. We can't wait till we come back to stay again. Top marks to one and all here.

Not one to write reviews but I felt it necessary as some of those on here were quite poor. Found this to be a lovely and charming place to stay. View from the room was fabulous, with even better sound effects from the river! There is a lovely deck area with comfortable chairs and loungers to enjoy the view and the sound of the rivers flowing. There is no food available on site, but the bar is nice for a pre or post dinner drink and there are restaurants 10 minutes drive in either direction. The staff were lovely, a warm and friendly family of hosts. The breakfast was plentiful with meats, cheeses, yoghurts and cooked options. Great price for a relaxing night in the country. It's not 5 star but it's never claimed to be, a good value, clean and pleasant place to stay. We will be back.
