Hotel Metropole

This was our second stay at the Hotel Metropole. Our room was beautiful. We enjoyed the courtyard restaurant. The nightly music was great too. The entire town has quaint shops all within walking distance. We recommend the Blue Water restaurant for dinner and drinks. We plan to come again.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff spoiled up with goodness. The hotel is well maintained, great morning breakfast, room was lovely, deck jacuzzi amazing and hotel location in town perfect.

Great staff, great rooms!

I came in with low expectations due to mixed reviews online, but the Metropole was such a pleasant surprise. We had a superior king room on the 3rd floor overlooking the courtyard. I recommend calling the hotel directly to request your preferred view, since the other option was a view of Whittley Ave. which can be loud due to golf carts driving up and down the hill. Our room had a balcony with just a hint of the ocean visible, but the courtyard was lovely and quiet. Our room was ADA accessible, which was fine since it meant the bathroom was huge. There was a mini fridge and keurig, a small round table with two chairs, a fireplace, and a large closet for storage. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. Don't listen to the reviews complaining about the breakfast options. They had a decent variety of yogurt, bagels, fruit, muffins, and coffee. We ate outside in the courtyard where there is plenty of seating and it's lovely in the mornings with no crowds. The location was convenient, with several shops just downstairs along with an arcade, cafe, and the M Restaurant. We loved the ambiance at M for a date night on the patio. Overall, our stay at the Metropole elevated our vacation, and I would be happy to stay again.
