Do not let the photos on the web site fool you. These photos are from when the hotel was built new and have not been updated in many many years. I have attached some recent photos for your evaluation. Let me start with the front desk staff. All of those working the front desk when present were more concerned with their cell phones and not customer service. The staff managed to overbook the facility two nights in a row stranding four of my family members without a room. The rooms we had were filthy with carpet stains and furniture stains not to mention the significant presence of black mold in the bathroom, rusty and corroding walls and fixtures, holes in drywall furniture and carpet. I am not sure where the maintenance staff has been but have obviously been absent a long while as air conditioning units were stacked in the halls, the ice maker did not work. When it came to the continental breakfast there was no juice coffee or milk. There was however dry cereal and individually packaged breakfast pastries. Cups and napkins were rationed like fuel during WWII so I went to the Caseys next door to get milk, juice and napkins for my family. When it came to check out, even though the rate quoted when the reservation was made was less than that when we arrived, the front desk staff was able to charge me for six rooms not the five we occupied for the evening when the reservation was for seven rooms. I am a retired field engineer who has been a IHG Platinum member for over ten years. For $121.00 per night per room I will never stay at a Wyndham property again and neither should you.
