Our room was dirty. The couch was filthy and had stains all over it. The bathroom sink didn't drain, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, there was some sticky stuff and coffee stains on the travel cup lid by the coffee maker. In the morning people were eating on napkins because they were out of dishes and knives in the breakfast room. I waited until the reception area was empty before I advised the desk person about my concerns. She said nothing except to let me know the manager wasn't around. So a couple of days later I received an email requesting me to fill out a survey about our stay. Amanda contacted me right away. So I thanked her for her quick response. But she went on to blame me. In the survey I was asked what I would do to change the situation and I said, "Clean the rooms, get some new furniture, plates, knives, and staff." This is exactly what Amanda wrote back....."Regarding your interaction with our front desk staff, while we understand you felt unheard, we want to address your "Other Comment" section within the survey: "Clean the rooms, get some new furniture, plates, knives, and staff." I never said this to Amanda or the front desk person, only answered the question on the survey. We're committed to addressing all legitimate guest concerns, and our team members are dedicated to providing excellent service. They deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. Moving forward, we suggest that approaching hotel staff with a more pleasant demeanor when issues arise can often lead to a more positive resolution." I could not believe she put the blame on me. Even if she felt this way she should never put the blame on the customer, especially when she wasn't there. I have managed a business for many years and never would I scold the customer. And finally, Amanda, if you don't want honest feedback to a problem, don't ask the question! So, in conclusion I would never stay at a Wyndham again not because it was unsatisfactory but mostly because when management didn't get the response they wanted they felt it best to blame me....Shame on you Amanda!

The staff was alright but the room was gross, I had to put down towels on the carpet after a shower because I could feel the carpet sticking to my feet from how dirty it was. I cannot emphasize enough how NASTY the carpet was. There was something splattered all over the back of my door. Trash all over the property outside and right on a truck stop so safety was arguable for a single woman. No guns/concealed carry sign on the front door also so decisions had to be made there also. The AC unit took a long time to get the room cool which was basically midnight before I felt like it was a normal temperature. The unit was fully turned off when I entered the room so it smelled musty, damp from the condensation/heat, and super hot. Overall, slept not good, the whole experience was not great. Should have spent the extra $25-30 for a nice hotel.
