Quality Inn Austintown-Youngstown West

Location: Convenient access to the interstate, ample truck parking, and proximity to dining options.

I was returning from a vacation and needed to stop somewhere along the way. Unfortunately there was a concert in Cleveland that prevented us from stopping earlier. I mention this because this was the fourth hotel we tried so I was tired and just over it. I should have kept looking. I will say that the staff, especially the daytime staff, were very nice. Their juice machine was broken so they brought up two bottles of orange juice for my child who was allergic to the juice they had in the fridge. When I forgot something and needed to run back up after checkout, they were understanding. However, the food smells from the restaurant next door permeate the hotel. It wasn't as bad in the room with the air on, but it was not entirely pleasant. It seemed like the hotel had tried to update but needed another refresh. The breakfast was minimal. The juice machine was broken and couldn't even provide water. It was also very cramped and there were signs saying not to take food to your room - not a comfortable or pleasant experience. We ate and left quickly. The hallway carpets were stained, there was a burn mark on one of the bedspreads (non-smoking room so I reported it to not be charged) and the office chair was worn. The worst part was the floor. The carpet was so dirty that when I washed my feet, the washcloth was gray. Especially for the cost, I was not happy with this stay and would be unlikely to stay here again.

We enjoyed the outdoor pool, the Indian restaurant attached to the hotel and the breakfasts.
