Very nice hotel. Will come back again

Loved the place.. .everyone was extremely friendly, had a pool side room. The whole vibe of the hotel was lovely. Thank you for your hospitality.

We came for a weekend get-a-way. This hotel combines modern amenities with old-world charm. Conveniently located near the Capitol, Lady Bird Lake, Zilker Park, University of Texas and museums, location could not be better. Very comfortable beds in tasteful rooms, the hotel offers courtyard views. The historic part of the original mansion also has upstairs rooms that open to an upstairs porch overlooking the Capitol and downtown. There is a wide front porch with the original columns where one can enjoy a cocktail, coffee or just sit. The yard is surrounded by tall live oaks which allows for a private feel to the yard. The inner courtyard houses a small pool and comfortable deck chairs, cabanas and tables. The restaurant, Goodalls, features gourmet fare at reasonable prices. Needless to say, this is my favorite hotel in Austin!

I just wanted to hop off n here and say thank you to the entire hotel staff. We had my daughter’s wedding here and we couldn’t be happier - the location and the history were a treat on top of the amazing food and service - special shout out to Ben for helping us with tear down and to Elli and her valet team for taking care of of our cars. To everyone at Ella, thanks again!

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ella recently, and while the hotel itself is beautiful and welcoming, what truly made our stay exceptional was Isaac B at the front desk. Isaac is warm, fun, and incredibly kind, he truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for during our time here. He greeted us with such genuine warmth every time we came and went, and it was always a joy to see his smiling face. Isaac is not only professional and attentive, but he radiates a kind of generosity and humanity that is rare to find. In a particularly difficult and emotional season for us, his kindness brought unexpected comfort and light. Hotel Ella is lucky to have someone like Isaac representing them. We are so grateful to have crossed paths with him. Highly recommend this hotel and if you’re lucky enough to meet Isaac, you’ll see exactly what we mean. He’s doing a fantastic job, and we’re thankful for all he did for us.

Very nice room. Very clean hotel. Check in and check out was easy. Beds were comfortable. Price was reasonable for the area. Easy walking distance to campus. Valet was great! Very quick, very polite. Weren't there long enough to enjoy the pool or restaurant.
