Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin - South/Airport

The experience was not good at all (10-7-24 thru 10-11-24). The elevators were in & out of service the first couple of days when my company checked in. It was very inconvenient. People had to walk up to 5 flights of stairs to get to their rooms with their luggage. I couldn't get to my room a couple of times during the day & evening for a few hours due to them putting down a floor in the elevators. Both towers had the same issue. I was unable to walk the stairs which left me to stay in the lobby or someone else's room until it was available on the south tower. One of the desk clerks did offer to walk the steps and grab my lunch for me, but I told him that was ok. I don’t know his name. He was a tall gentleman. I don't understand why you would work on elevators during the day when you have a full hotel and there's only one elevator that goes up on each side. My company spent a lot of money. We had at least 25 rooms if not more. We were very dissatisfied. I went down for breakfast on the 11th @ 9:20 and the breakfast area had been shut down. I thought breakfast ends @ 9:30 during the week. I asked the worker if it was too late and she just smiled and she just kept shutting down. So I was not able to get breakfast before my 3:00 flight.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. You can tell that the manager hires good people and drives a good culture.

Quiet and close to where we want to be

Beautiful hotel and the staff was so nice. They were immaculate with customer service. I will be rooming here again in the near future

Comfortable bed

We stayed at this hotel two nights while visiting Waco and Austin. The hotel was close to the airport, right off the interstate and was very clean. The breakfast was great too.
