What a wonderful introduction to Austin and Texan hospitality. Room was very comfortable and the neighbourhood is not only quiet but felt very safe and is highly walkable.

My family and I were just at Brava House for the weekend. We had the Fitzgerald and Garbo rooms which were both fabulous. It felt as though we had the whole downstairs to ourselves. Quiet. Private. The antiquity is charming. The beds are comfortable beyond ~ Excellent experience.

The property is in great condition. It's clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and the area felt safe. Bryan, the host, was quick to respond to the one minor issue we had. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I felt like we got a good deal considering how much space we were given a bedroom plus a private living area where we were able to sit and visit. We also enjoyed time on the front porch, listening to nature and watching the locals walk by.

Bryan and Sherry are lovely hosts and filled with Austin facts without being overbearing. Bryan whipped up delicious hot breakfasts aside from the fresh fruit, healthy cereals, coffees, teas and toasts. Our room, and that of our friends who were also there, were comfy, accommodating and adorned with interesting art and carvings.

Comfortable and quiet BnB in beautifully restored home in the Clarksville neighborhood of Austin, convenient to everything. Bryan and Sherry were wonderful hosts. I’ll definitely come back again next time in Austin! John H

Convenient location to family, well maintained and comfortable unit, and the bedroom mattress was delightfully comfortable. Support staff were respectful and responsive. Bryan and Sherry were cordial and delightful hosts. We would happily stay there again.

My partner and I enjoyed an altogether wonderful four-night stay in Brava House's Casablanca room. The room is on the second story, surrounded by trees and lovely light coming in through the windows. We found the room sufficiently spacious, comfortable and quiet, augmented by a fold-out convertible bed loveseat and large screen TV, frig and microwave oven, just perfect for the two of us. Hosts Bryan and Sherry are a very special couple who were accommodating to our needs, personable, super friendly and eager to engage in all manner of conversational exploration. They make sure to provide a generous breakfast and ensure everyone's comfort and well being. There's a reason so many patrons plan to return to Brava House on future visits to Austin – there's no place like home, and there's no place like a homey stay away from home.
