TownePlace Suites Austin North/Lakeline

I’m very disappointed with the lack of management at this hotel, particularly Quaylon Perry. Last night 7/8/25 I asked an employee to speak with a manager, and she told me, “The Taskforce GM, Quaylon Perry, will be here at 7 AM — he’s the manager on duty.” However, I stopped by the desk twice this morning and he still wasn’t there. Now it’s almost 1 in the afternoon, and Quaylon Perry, who was supposed to be here at 7 AM, has yet to show up. This isn’t the first time I’ve asked for a manager here and been told he “isn’t here yet” or “just left.” Guests deserve better — a manager who is actually present and available when promised. I need his assistance because anytime I need to do something with my reservation they say they need GM credentials.

Good hotel

We stayed at TownePlace Suites Austin North/Lakeline for a week and had a very pleasant time overall. A big shout out to Kenny, who made us feel like valued guests with her cheerful smile and by remembering our names. The hotel is located in a residential area with nice walking paths along a canal, and is very quiet. We had a room facing the backyard, and one night some people were holding a party by the fire pit and were quite loud. Troy addressed it very quickly so we were able to go to sleep. The room was clean and well-appointed with a good-sized desk and a full kitchen. The TV was probably older because it was very slow to respond to the remote control. Sound insulation was good between rooms but we could hear heavy footsteps for a few days from upstairs. The bathroom design is less than desirable. The shower has no door, with a glass that covers about 60% of the stall. The water splashed onto the floor when we turned on the water. It's one of those non-functional things designers designed for looks but didn't test themselves. Breakfast was good for this hotel class with fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal and real eggs as healthier options. We appreciated having a gym and access to a laundry room.

Loved it

The staff here are absolutely wonderful!!! They are super helpful and courteous. This hotel has coin operated laundry which was a godsend!! The room was super nice with full size refrigerator and stove if you wanted to cook. The bed was perfect!! Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Really pleasant to stay here. Excellent for business travellers.
