Great location - just 2 blocks away from the downtown craziness but very accessible distance for the great food and entertainment of downtown! I should add that this is my 3rd time at the Inn. I love the homely feeling and its a thousand times better than the structured beige of the hotels. The coffee next door (Radio Rosewood) is the best in the area! The owners are so helpful. During my first trip, I forgot an ipad stand that I use for travel and they were very gracious to mail it back. In the second one, I forgot a shirt which they stored for me to pick up.

The Frances Modern Inn is providing exceptional service from staff. They are most helpful and very responsive to e-mails. Thank you so very much for this. Located on a prime location. The hotel is located on a 30 min walk from downtown. The rooms are stylish and have luxurious amenities, and guests are charmed by the hotel's unique decor. Amenities such as the round-the-clock coffee service and the keyless check inn enhances the experience.

Small, self-service hotel in East Austin. Was convenient to my office, which is why I selected it. Rooms are small, but very clean with nice bathrooms and amenities. Rain shower shower head or Euro shower wand. Each floor seemed to have a "porch" on the back (rooms surrounded this porch) with a fridge of waters and drinks and Jura coffee machine for the morning. Would stay there again. No staff on site (restaurant on ground floor reopening day of my departure), but the concierge by text was super responsive, including an early check in.

Great weekend getaway
Stayed here with a friend for a quick girls weekend and so glad we choose The Frances Modern! The hotel is beautiful and we were able to walk to most places. The common areas were welcoming and the complimentary drinks were awesome after a long day of walking around. It was January so too cold for us to actually sit in common area or rooftop, even thought they had small space heaters. Would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Austin.

Fantastic stay
Owner was very responsive, property was very cute, room was clean, and the coffee/tea/water station in the common area was very convenient. Inn was walkable to a lot of popular restaurants and bars. Property provides complimentary parking (4 spots onsite, and more available at offsite lot), which is rare in Austin.
