InTown Suites Extended Stay Select Denver - Aurora South

I’ve been a resident at InTown Suites in Aurora since March 2024 when I relocated for a new job, and while the pricing may seem competitive for the area, the overall experience is far from what one would expect—even from an extended stay property. This review isn’t written out of frustration alone, but from a sincere desire to raise awareness about the day-to-day reality of staying here. The most pressing issue is the environment created by certain long-term residents. Excessive noise is constant—loud conversations, shouting, children running in hallways at all hours, and disruptive behavior from neighboring rooms. On one occasion, I had to contact the police due to what I believed was a case of child abuse. I also captured recordings of ongoing domestic disturbances. Despite bringing this to the attention of the on-site manager, the same behavior continues, raising questions about how (or if) management is enforcing any policies. I’ve also been displaced from my original room for nearly two months due to a ceiling leak. I was told it would be repaired in three weeks so I could return. That promise was made almost eight weeks ago. I continue to pay the same rate for a smaller room while being given no clear timeline or resolution. While the housekeeping staff works hard and the location is convenient, these positives are overshadowed by more systemic issues. The property suffers from bad odors in common areas, inconsistent cleaning schedules, and a general lack of order. Residents often exhibit troubling behaviors—ranging from poor hygiene to suspected substance use. It’s clear that there is no meaningful guest vetting process. The management on-site appears limited in authority or overwhelmed by the scale of the issues. Corporate customer service, when contacted, refers all concerns back to the same management, resulting in a frustrating cycle with no accountability. For those considering a long-term stay here, especially if you work remotely, I urge caution. What initially looks like a budget-friendly option quickly becomes draining due to constant noise, lack of enforcement, and the absence of structure or security. In a shared living space, quality of life hinges as much on the people around you as the building itself—and unfortunately, neither is adequately managed here.

The room was not clean prior to our stay.Never provided room service.We were told we would have access to the pool but pool was out of commission. The halls smelled funny all the time.Hard time getting toilet tissue.

I am *very* impressed with the staff here. They have all been friendly, resourceful, and very helpful to me since I began my visit here. From front desk to maintenance to housekeeping, I've experienced nothing other than being treated *consistently well*. Keep up the good work. - Jason Docheff
