Best Western Plus Augusta Hotel

Good place for the price/value. Great convenient location to dining, shopping and interstate access. The staff were all great, pleasant and efficient. The breakfast options were good and presented well. The only negatives were my bathroom fan made a terrible noise for several minutes that I worried would disturb my neighbors but it stopped after several minutes. I also see this property starting a slow decline and I have stayed here often before and this makes me sad.

Location is easy to get to, right off of I-20 and on a road with many other hotels. Hotel is large and staff is friendly. I was recognized as a Best Western Gold Member and was given a complimentary room upgrade, which was a nice surprise. Fitness center is a bit dingy and rooms could use some cosmetic updates. Large stain on the sofa in my room and the usb ports by the bed were not working (one was visibly broken, the other was just not functional). Also had an issue with one of the elevators getting stuck and not going down from the 4th floor, although going up was fine. Breakfast has hot options (eggs and bacon) and was above-average for this price point. Parking was plentiful; overall would stay again.

The place was clean and the staff was good and relatable. I did not get a chance to use the pool as it needed to be cleaned.

GYM: filthy, hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. ROOM: not cleaned well - dirt & dust everywhere. Also found coackroaches. Nice thing is there is a full fridge with freezer. STAFF: Very friendly & attentive. With the amount of staff always on site, there is no excuse how dirty everything is. BREAKFAST: Simple, not a lot of options or change. Laundry was very expensive: $4 for washer & $4 for dryer. Good location. Recommendation: don't clean rooms every day. Offer every other day so the staff can properly clean each room. Entire place really needs a deep clean.

The fitness center was a converted supply closet. Thanks for the effort. Cockroach as I started my shower, and mold visible in the shower.

It was a great value, the food was excellent. The only trouble I had was the cleaning service didn't make it to us and I had to go find dry towels
