Chosen by a tour operator, to visit the Oktoberfest in Munich, which is about 70 km away, located at the entrance to southern Ausburg. Clean rooms, remote check in done by the tour guide, you are practically given a pin to access the assigned room. Small breakfast room... there is a huge queue and not even enough chairs. Overall good solution.

Clean hotel, modern. Spacious room and easy parking. It is fine for 1 to 2 nights. The location is easy to get too and easy to reach the city. The staff were friendly and professional. The aircon worked well and the shower was good. Would recommend.

Excellent location, just outside the main train station and walking distance to the Konigsplatz from where where most of the city is accessible through trams and buses. Checked in was quick, room was ok, though a small bathroom but fully functional with a heater of its own. Linen is changed once every four days as a routine. Breakfast was ok, covers most of the usual stuff. In all, a nice and convenient place to stay if you would be out most of the day.

We chose Jakober Hof for its prime location in Augsburg. Centrally located and within walking distance to the historic Fuggerie, downtown, Stadtmarkt, Rathaus Plaza and so much more. Our family that live in Augsburg giggled when we told them where we'd stayed our first night home, (in this family owned bed and breakfast versus the usual, large corporate hotel chain) but our experience couldn't have been more perfect. I had not been back home to Augsburg in 40 years so I was looking for my sweet, old Augsburg... The Augsburg I remembered as a child growing up with my Oma, and that's what we found at Jakober Hof - This was a truly wonderful Bavarian Bed and Breakfast experience. Although dorm-like, the room was huge and the bed was super comfortable. I especially loved the monogrammed bed linens and towel warmer in the bathroom. Everything was exceptionally clean and the innkeepers went to great lengths to ensure we had everything we needed to check in long after their front desk closed. You see, we didn't arrive until almost 2AM from Munich so it was really nice of them to provide (via e-mail) the code for us to pick up the key from their on-site keybox. The room featured plenty of storage, seating and there were flat-screen televisions in the room and, in the bathroom! I loved being able to sleep with the windows wide open to let in the cool, crisp autumn night air. Breakfast in the restaurant was AMAZING... Just as I remembered growing up. Rolls, pastries, a nice assortment of meats and cheeses, soft-boiled eggs, juices, coffee and a great tea selection. I couldn't have been happier and the innkeepers seemed truly delighted to have us. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating to all of our needs.Honestly, it felt like staying with family! Parking was 6 euros extra for the night but it was conveniently located in the hof and just steps from the room. If you know this area of Augsburg, you know it's not easy to find off-street parking, especially at 2AM! Although we transferred to the Dorint Hotel for the remaining 9 days of our visit to Augsburg, we only did so because that's where my parents were staying. However, for the trip we have planned to return to Augsburg next year, we'll gladly return to the Jakober Hof!

I was in this building for two nights, 25 and 26 April 2019 with two other families with children. Nothing to say on the room: wide, with a double bed and a very solid castle bed, soft and comfortable mattresses, clean clothes, very comfortable bathroom with big shower, small helpful kitchen to prepare breakfast in the morning, and round tables with two seats. We enjoyed the great common kitchen made available to guests. We noticed a little incursion in the cassettes, probably due to the miseducation of some guests. The kitchen has allowed us to spend a pleasant evening in our company, cooking a simple Italian ”pasta” so I would say good structure, even if viewed from outside I must admit that it is not very attractive. The staff on duty at the counter is only until 10pm. If the time is exceeded, you can only contact with an emergency phone, which is relatively not very convenient. In addition, when checking in, the automatic check-in machine at the door failed, and the whole check-in was delayed for a long time, but the service staff actively helped to deal with it.

Friendly, uncomplicated reception! There are already many of the high-price hotels and hotel chains that can cut a ticket.. We have searched for and found a cheap accommodation on the journey to the holidays. Therefore we were ready to take off, which we had not to do here. nice, helpful, young crew at the reception. Clean, attractive room, facilities functional, fresh. Flattery air conditioning, which we have enjoyed in “monkey heat”. Breakfast ok, for the price called super( adults 10€/ children4€) All in all a fantastic price performance ratio!
