I stayed here for one night on a dinner bed and breakfast package and from the moment we arrived I can honestly say everything was absolutely wonderful. We have a very welcoming and friendly check in from the Receptionist and where given the keys to our room which was a twin room I shared with my niece. The room was lovely and clean and much to our satisfaction and we had a lovely countryside view. I cannot relate to the bad reviews at all which could easily put people off but I am glad we were not as this hotel really is a hidden little gem. I loved how hot the bath water was and enjoyed all the room amenities during our stay. We had a beautiful dinner the food was fab my niece had the fillet steak which she loved and I had the curry which was delicious. The sticky toffee pudding and the ice-cream sorbets we can highly recommend. My niece had a mocktail to finish off our dinner which she thoroughly enjoyed. We slept like babies and had a wonderful breakfast of fruit, yogurt, juices, croissants and also a full hot Irish self serve breakfast. We had a quick Americano and a walk of the grounds after checkout and were on our way. All the staff from check to dinner to breakfast were so friendly and helpful. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay worth every penny and we will definitely be back in the not too distant future.

Room was cold on arrival and boiling during the night. Massage was disappointing options for pressure light or medium I asked therapist for medium to deep could barely feel it. Dinner was ok but breakfast was awful everything was lukewarm and dried out even the coffee wasn’t hot. Definitely it 4* food. Thermal spa .. pool was cold we were allocated one hour only stayed 20 minutes

Amazing from start to finish. Fabulous room, really spacious, spotless clean throughout the room, and hotel in general. We had the 3 course meal included and access to the spa (for an extra £10 per person). Spa area was spotless clean and looked well maintained. My partner didn’t have any treatments but I’m sure she will the next time. Steam room at the spa was excellent. One small issue for me was the thermal pool wasn’t actually very warm - maybe it’s meant to be that way but I was definitely expecting it to be a bit hot. No real issue though once we were in a while. Bar and restaurant area is stunning. Lovely fire in the bar area, and nice seating dotted throughout the bar /restaurant. Bedroom was extremely spacious and very warm. The cold weather snap has passed but it’s still hardly tropical outside! Room was warm without the heating even being on, which was nice. Food in the restaurant, absolutely outstanding! The steak was cooked to perfection and the vegetables just melted in your mouth. My partner had the lamb which was absolutely amazing also. Wine that we had with the diner was also excellent. Every staff member that we dealt with were all pleasant and very helpful. In particular during the meal, Simon was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, as were the ladies at breakfast this morning. We only stayed one night (12/01/25), we will be back though and will stay longer. Only other minor issue was that my partner paid extra for a Prosecco and sweat treat extra package , but they didn’t have the sweet treats, just strawberries with the Prosecco - not a game changer but just being honest. Maybe the extra should’ve been reduced in price for that reason. The sweet treats in the pictures looked amazing.

Like many before me I will summarise : 1) service appalling 2) rooms tired and grubby 3) strong smell of sewage in corridors and round spa 4) spa enormously disappointing - we got full refund for one treatment ! Thermal spa is underwhelming and cold . 5) don’t dare ask for a sandwich on Sunday - you can have one on a Saturday , but not a Sunday - and the look of disdain from the restaurant staff was disgraceful . Oh and don’t order soup - it will come cold with stale bread ! 6) food average at dinner and breakfast well below what one would expect of 4* - the fried eggs were rock hard and everything dried up and poor . And no - we weren’t down late . We sat down at 9am and breakfast is served 8-10. Overall ? Disappointed and will not be back .

My relaxing getaway here was let down by the fact that my iPhone charger, worth €80, seems to have disappeared into thin air. I realised I had left it in the room shortly after leaving while in the car on the way home. I rang reception a couple of times and they say nothing was found. Bizarre when it was the last place i used it..

My husband and I spend a weekend at Corick House to celebrate our anniversary. We spent our first day in the spa. The staff were lovely. We got a treatment, use of the thermal and serenity suites. The areas were beautiful. There was a menu in the serenity suite, it would have been nice if a staff member asked if we wished to order something. We were to be advised when we should love from one area to another, however, I think the staff got distracted with other tasks, so we missed time in some areas. Our room was clean and bed comfortable. I would suggest providing fans in each room, as it was ridiculously warm. The food in restaurant was really good, and Simon had great banter. We would love to return.

We attended Corick House as a large family to celebrate a special birthday. Sunday lunch was outstanding with an excellent menu. The service from the staff was also faultless. Their attention to detail was very impressive. Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend and cannot wait to return.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay . He had been quite ill this year and it was just what the doctor ordered. A bit of a mix up over the room, but the receptionist could not have been more helpful. We were given a beautiful room and would go back to it tomorrow ! The grounds are stunning and we really enjoyed our meals and breakfasts. We were in the older part of the hotel and loved that we felt as if we had our own front door out into the stunning grounds. Last but not least the staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming , knowledgeable and oh so helpful. My husband accidentally tidied my small hearing aid into the little bin in our room which we only realised after the cleaners had been . Cleaning staff retrieved it (my husband offered to look himself). This was all done in good grace and said hearing aid was returned to our door by the receptionist within 10 mins to a very relieved lady ! Special thanks to all the staff including the spa for a most enjoyable stay . A special mention to Florence our breakfast lady, to whom nothing was too much trouble, a lovely person. Also the two lovely receptionists with whom we dealt with on the day we arrived (Sunday 22nd September)… super girls ! We hope to go back for my husband’s 60th birthday in February.
