Nice welcome, provided with an iron, and sooo helpful that there is a lift! Nice friendly people on reception through the night (even gave us some bottled water) and was grateful for the late check out. We were even late leaving the room after that and it was no problem. Great location for Co-op Arena!

Staff very helpful, at the Travelodge as well as at The Lord Sheldon, where the staff were extremely accommodating both for dinner and breakfasts.

Tramlines right outside the windows with trams passing by that I could almost touch as they noisily passed by and beyond that a busy dual carriageway making sleep impossible. The room was dilapidated and not cleaned properly also the food in the pub next door was disgusting and overpriced. That was the first time we ever stayed in a Travelodge and it will certainly be the last.

10 minute wait for “Shereen ” the Supervisor to show up at Reception - Not Good ! We were allocated Room 20 on the ground floor. A scorching hot day & night situated nearest to the tram tracks proved to be very noisy. The room was intolerably hot so as there’s no air-con we needed the windows to be open. The noise was ridiculous and no sense of security, despite the weedy little wires fitted to the windows. We asked the Supervisor for an upstairs room, more secure and abit away from the trams. A straight no was the response. The trams ran until after midnight. We will not be staying with Travelodge again. At least not Ashton-U-Lyne. We have stayed at Stockport town centre before and it was brilliant

Nice comfortable bed, convienient tram stop just down the road to get into Manchester or other attactions.

Great place to stay to visit the Co Op arena. Tram stop only 5 minutes walk away and £4.30 return. Was given a great room by the manager Scott who seems to run the place on his own. I hope the company recognise his efforts and brilliant customer service. Clean room and quiet.

Non ho neanche parole per descrivere,sporco,triste, puzzolente. La pulizia non sanno nemmeno cosa significhi.Lenzuola bucate e puzzolenti,bagno sporco, moquette polverosa.Rumoroso e triste.Non si riesce nemmeno a dormire talmente il letto puzza.

This hotel had such friendly and personable staff, Scott the manager was a great help with plenty of local knowledge to help make choosing what to do so much easier. Jonathan and Kym were on hand and happy to help whenever i needed anything and i asked a LOT of questions. Overall what made this trip great was the help of the staff, will be back if I'm coming to the area.

I have stayed there for a night but I would that was helpfull I can't bear that level of noise for more than a night.The windows are not sound proof at all .All night the noise of train and passing cars on the road made so much noise additionally the stains on the carpet was everywhere and a weird smell of some tea of spilled coffee was a nightmare.
