The room we booked has a double bed and a single bed, and there is parking. However, you should pay attention to the check-in time of the hotel front desk. Many New Zealand hotels are not 24-hour front desks. This time, the plane arrived in Auckland relatively late. I arrived at the hotel to check in. There was no one. .

Originally through work I was booked a studio room - when I checked in the lady at the front desk was lovely. When I entered my room it smelled strongly of cleaner but unfortunately the bathroom/shower area was still disappointing. There was a lot of mould and grime in the shower area and the grout of the tiles. I couldn't have showered there. When I went back to the front desk to explain, and enquire about another room, I was kindly upgraded to one of the apartments beside the Burger King and had a much more pleasing stay. The apartment was new, sleek, super clean and had beautiful finishings. I would definitely stay in the apartments again. It was near to lots of different eateries, conveniently close to the motorway and a great location.

The hotel is in a good location, with Subway, Chinese restaurants nearby, and a 15-minute walk from a large supermarket and a Chinese supermarket The sanitation of the hotel is very good and the service is also very good. There is now a construction site next to the hotel, but fortunately, construction is only around 9 in the morning. The hotel has triple rooms, and you can also choose standard rooms with extra beds.

The location of the Motel is excellent, the parking is convenient, the room facilities are complete, and the hygiene standards are superb (see the bottom of the bed and the bathroom). Even the direction of the handle of the water glass is uniformly pointed. In the Motel and five-star hotel apartments we have experienced Rare
The Esplanade Hotel

North Shore
The hotel is in a heritage building in the most dominant location at Devonport harbor and ferry pier. The rooms facing the sea are OK, the rooms to the backyard are small without view. The biggerst advantage of this hotel is its location to have the ferry right in front of the hotel to reach the center of Auckland in 12 minutes.
Ocean Breeze Hotel

North Shore
I am giving this four stars based on cleanliness and the amazing views of the city across the way. The beds were comfortable, and our 2 bedroom harbour view unit was spacious. We did not use the TV, as it seemed to be inconvenient to try to figure out. The unit did have a combo washer/dryer, which was such a nice surprise, but we could not get the dryer to work. The property is in great need of overall updates, but the rooms were great. The parking situation is fine for small cars, but for our oversized mini-bus, parking was difficult, given the fact that half of the parking lot was blocked off due to damage. This hotel is not centrally in Takapuna, more like between Devonport and Takapuna. But we didn't mind the location. It was just in a residential area, and it was perfect for morning walks!
