When we arrived at the check-in area at 11 o'clock, the front desk said that they had sent an email to notify us that we would need to send our passport photos at 20 o'clock. I checked the email and it was sent at 20:00. I was driving and didn’t pay attention to the email. I asked the staff if I could check in. The staff said that I couldn't check in without a passport photo before 20 o'clock. I'm confused, can't I give you your passport on the spot? Who knows if you send an email? Good hostel with a great location. Active social environment, pool
Table and entry lounge at times bustling.
I rated service, cleanliness and amenities as medium in a general sense, but were very good with the hostel lens on.
Location was great for food, bars, logistics.
I stayed several days here in a private room w/ shared bath after arriving in NZ to serve as a shopping and generally prepare location for a long walk- it was perfect for that!!

For backpackers, I would rank in the top two. There are quite a lot of facilities. The maintenance is a little bit stretchy, but it is pretty good. The service attitude is not as good as the previous one, and the timeliness of maintenance is not as good as that of the backpacker.
The advantage is that it is a little more remote, not so crowded, and has more room, kitchen, and surrounding space.
At this price and location, I give it four stars.
