Room smell was awful. Reception had to move us to other room and the second room toilet flush is not working. It was a night without using toilet.
Had to book another hotel check out the next morning. We only stay for 1 night but paid 3days :( Speak to the lady in reception and promise us to try to refund atleast 1night from 3nights paid. Message the property after the check out date till now no response :(.

Very unpleasant experience, the room is completely different from what I booked. The front desk guy said at first that it is indeed different and will change you to the original room type after 10 o'clock tomorrow morning (this is outrageous, I only stay for one day). Then he said that this is the only room left, whether you want it or not. After returning to the room, I complained to Ctrip, and Ctrip took it very seriously, but the guy refused to answer Ctrip's call☎️ so it was not resolved in the end.

This was our first stay at Ascotia Off Queens and I have to say that the staff were very accommodating during or two nights there. (A little side note; the deposit is $250.00 and not the stated $100.00 on the Trip website. I paid cash for the deposit and received it back on checkout without any issues).
They have a nice little dining space on the ground floor opposite reception which caters for al a carte or buffet depending on your choice and it's very responsibly priced.
The parking spaces are limited so best to reserve early and as for the parking spaces themselves? We had no issues with parking but it can be a tight squeeze if you have a larger vehicle, still doable though.
The bedroom we were in was tidy and small, but comfortable. Shower amenities were good with complimentary body wash, shampoo & body lotion provided.
The bed we found to be clean and comfortable so no complaints there. The only issue we had was not enough room to store our bags and the bin in our room was tiny. Apart from that Ascotia off Queens was a great place to stay. Thank you to the wonderful staff for the great service.

It is a VR hotel chain. If you want to pay more, go for the first building of VR Queen. The hotel is very old and, most importantly, there is no air conditioning. It is the first hotel that is worse than a hostel. Everyone was shocked and the foreigners were shocked that the air conditioning in the whole hotel did not work. The front desk said it was normal and not broken, but it could not be turned on. The weather that day was 19 degrees and it was raining, so it was still a little cold. We had to open the window to let the wind blow in before we could sleep. However, the room was a bit damp and musty. It is not recommended for people who like to sleep with air conditioning. The amenities are terrible. There is no hand sanitizer, no shower cream, no shampoo. There are only empty bottles on the wall. However, there is a small bar of soap and a small tube of shampoo that does not foam at all. There are no other things, so don't waste your time asking. The drinking glass is full of dust. You have to wash it with water first. Overall, it is terrible. Next time, I will definitely not stay here again.
