It was awesome, perfect location close to everything, room was perfection, love the shower very powerful, balcony was awesome. It's good for a longer stay and definitely I'll go there again.

I was really lucky to be allocated to room 8A which is facing to fort st. The noise from the KTV was loud esp on the last weekend of school holiday - luckily I'm still managed to sleep. What worried me most from others reviews was, the place is an emergency accommodation and their experience was really scary. I'm so lucky nothing happened during my stay. What I learnt after reading the reviews of this hotel is - check if was listed as crisis accommodation before you book

All are great except the noise from the club which annoyed me till 12:15am and gave me a headache all night long.

Not a great stay
This was not what I expected from Quest. Have been in Quest Sydney and Quest Melbourne (2 sides) and it’s great here.
I’ve booked a 1 bedroom apartment like always and they put me in a disabled room.
The bathroom was terrible. No space for toiletries and everything based on riding a wheelchair. Also barely no water in the shower. The location is great but there is a lot of noise every night till very very late.
Bed is very comfy tho. Will not book Quest in NZ again.

Stuck in town and needed reasonably priced, central accommodation. Pleased to find Quest on Queen. Clean and roomy. Good facilities. Prepared own meals in room. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend and return ourselves.

Good location and value but needs maintenance
There is a general lack of maintenance and care. There are a lot of cracked tiles and the floor was somewhat dirty. Also, we arrived on public holiday before 4 pm and the reception was not open. This is despite closing time is indicated as being at 4pm. The bed was comfortable and noise from Queen street is not an issue. It is close to everything you need. Overall, it was reasonable valuable for its location.

Short, but sweet!
Our stay was very short. We got in from a late flight arrival and woke up the night manager to let us in the hotel at 1:00 AM (sorry!). Left the following morning at check-out and they were gracious enough hold our baggage until the evening when we departed Auckland. We didn't get to use any amenities; we were only there to sleep. I will say their location is prime--right smack in the premiere shopping area of the CBD. We were only a few minutes walk from the ferry port. Highly recommend!
