I had a fantastic stay It was truly a unique and memorable experience. The resort is stunning and offers everything you could possibly need—there’s really no reason to leave as everything is available on-site. The variety of restaurants was impressive, with delicious food and plenty of options to suit all tastes. I personally tried three of the restaurants and also ordered room service, and each experience was excellent. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a great selection of dishes to start the day right. The resort offers a wide range of activities that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed. We went horse riding, tried clay shooting, and even did some climbing. The kids’ playroom was also fantastic and kept the little ones entertained. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which added to the overall wonderful experience. Thank you for an amazing stay I’ll definitely be back soon!

Stayed for 4 nights. Most of the staff were friendly and super helpful, especially the valet parking guys. Limited menu choice in the Strathearn and we had 2 very different dining experiences there, one good another less so. On the downside the additional service charges presented on checkout were a surprise. Also we unknowingly paid £300 for chatueabriand for two in the Burnham having decided against dining in the Strathearn again - this switch had been arranged in advance. Queried this at the reception on departure but they felt it was justified. Also still waiting for a refund for the prepaid golf that wasn't possible due to the course being understandably closed due to the big freeze. Shouldn't this have been an automatic refund communicated on the day ? Beautiful hotel with some areas of outstanding service, but the over commercialism at times spoilt our experience.

Please do not hesitate to book the Gleneagles during any time of year, but specifically plan ahead for festive season. I have never seen such an extraordinary display of holiday magic-making in my life! This property is exceptional for multi-generational family trips and you won't find another property of this quality and class that is so adept at handling children right along with adults. There are so many wonderful experiences right on property that are unique and enriching, not to mention just incredibly fun and well executed. You certainly can't get bored at Gleneagles! The staff are all so kind and patient, the food and beverage service is first class, and the property itself is one gorgeous space after another. I can't wait to tell everyone I know about Gleneagles so that they and their families can enjoy the magic as well!

2 nights country room. Strathearn restaurant good. Breakfasts there excellent, some of the best hotel breakfasts in Britain. Andrew Fairlie restaurant with wine flights was flawless, but the main hotel under Accor management is not what it used to be. They messed up everything on the invoicing, from crediting the deposit to the wrong room ( we had two rooms booked by one guest but supposed to be separately billed) to trying to charge for a tennis lesson that was paid for months in advance by the purchase of a voucher. The noise in the room at night from a heating fan was deafening and the ear plugs I requested were delivered to the wrong room The bath was tepid and had to be drained while I waited 2 hours for water temperature to be increased. An expensive facial was charged to the wrong room. Worst of all we tipped the bell boy and various other staff in cash and they "forgot"to mention the 12.5% automatically charged on all services plus a 5%v charge on the cost of the rooms. When asking for my sixth or seventh invoice with accurate figures I had to tell the receptionist to lower her voice - very poor customer service. I have had a Gleneagles time share and have stayed there many times, as host and guest, and I can tell you the grand old lady of British hotels is not what it used to be.

On the 14th of December last myself and partner Denis travelled to killarney to the Gleneagle hotel where we met with rest of Denis .s family to help celebrate his mams 90th birthday. . Now we got there anyway to be told that originally we had booked the 2nd floor in the hotel but when we got there we were told our had been changed as there was bath in the first room and Denis wouldn't be able to get to the bath as he would with the shower . So the receptionist at the front desk. Told me that she would like to give us the first room on the first floor . The there following day I had asked would it be OK if we held on to the room.alittle longer now I was going to pay for it but the girl on reception.it was OK There was a an.innocent with the bed sheets there was a little mark.on.them on.both side of bed so just said I would to inform reception of same And I did and now I been informed since our last stay on the the 13th of DECEMBER 24 that we are not longer welcome in this hotel.i think is so unfair as I wouldn't have come to reception unless I.wanted to notify them about what had happened in the room . And saying that we have been complaining since 2016 and to honnested for a hotel to hold this over a couple for so long is so unprofessional. We are very disappointed to be treated this way .

It was as always a fantastic stay. The food and the ambience were second to none but as always it was the great staff particularly Willie who made our stay. They were always there when we need them and always happy and smiling. The dinner in the Strathearn with that souffle was so much one to remember

Amazing holiday. Everything from arrival to departure was faultless. The staff make this hotel even more special. It's clean, great ambience and beautiful. Rooms very cosy, fresh milk in the fridge and just really enjoyed our stay in the room and the grounds. Pool well maintained and nice warm water and food amazing. Fresh ingredients, staff always go out of their way to make your stay the best. Top service, humble staff who really love being there. You cannot go wrong here - it is beautiful and a very relaxing break. Oh and excellent wifi too. Nice fresh air. Will be back. Thank you for having us - exceptional! 10/10!!! The Manders
