Hilton honors member booking for business. Supposedly the 1 and only room they had “left” was on the second floor, with mobility access and by the ice maker. I arrived late and Check in clerk said they are sold out… parking lot was not nearly full so I know that’s not true, however this was the only room available when I tried to check in online earlier as well, around 5 pm. Which tells me they blocked off 2 of 4 floors and limited number of rooms. This was the most uncomfortable Hilton bed I ever slept in, room was super dated and musky smelling. And at 6.30 am they turned on 70’s and 80’s pool music just outside my window as if I needed my encouragement to leave this place. Absolutely terrible.

I am a Hilton Honors Gold member. I booked a reservation in Auburn for February 6 but changed it to February 4th upon arrival. The hotel was good and Jo at the front desk was nice. They canceled my reservation on the 6th instead of changing it and surprised me with a cancellation charge of 174.00 on the same day I checked out. Sent an e-mail to the manager with documentation and HHonors found that the hotel made a mistake. Still no word from management or cc credit. I would expect it from other chains, not Hilton. Check your bill when you check out.

My first time here. Hotel is hidden off the main highway. Lots of parking. Friendly hotel staff. Rooms are large, modern and quiet. Restaurant and lounge has nightly specials. Breakfast is cooked to order and served with a smile. A good business hotel.

Staff were not overly friendly. When we checked into our room we found very obvious stains on our sheets and comforter. No way the cleaning staff didn’t notice. I guess they just don’t care. It was late so we had to get replacements from the front desk and change the bed ourselves.

The carpet is VERY old and needs to be torn out! Mold in our bathtub area. Some of the staff was very friendly but others not so much.......... VEry disappointed that the pool wasn't filled despite the 80 degree temps.

I took my 8 year old great niece who is Down Syndrome. She LOVES hotels and they were amazing with her. She felt like a princess. The room was perfect - clean and the bed was so comfortable. I live in Auburn, but it was a special treat and the staff could not have been nicer.

Unfortunately, this property has gone downhill and has become very outdated. Rooms need to be upgraded and deep cleaned. Staff was very nice but the breakfast in the morning service was very slow. Definitely not the Hilton Garden that I stayed in four years ago.

My wife and I stayed at a Hilton property in MS last year, and after waiting 20 to 30 min. for them to "get it ready," the room they assigned us was laughable - bed stripped, windows filthy/nasty, ice machine out of order on that floor, etc. We were given a different room, but no one even apologized. After complaining to Hilton, we were sent a "Be Our Guest" voucher to stay for one night at a Hilton facility in the future. I recently called Hilton Guest Svcs to redeem that voucher at this property in Auburn, AL, and they made the reservation and gave me a confirmation #. After driving 2.5 hours, I was told at the front desk that they would not honor this voucher at the Auburn HGI, because it said "good for any DoubleTree" standard room, tax included. There was also a big "HILTON" logo on the voucher, and it came from Hilton Guest Services! (Did I mention that I'm a Hilton Honors member?) I expressed my displeasure, and after being forced to wait for 10 min. or so, I was given a room on the highest floor that was the furthest distance from the elevator (hint, hint). The phone rang before I could even get my things off the rolling valet, and an assistant general manager said they would not be able to accept the voucher, and if I chose to stay, my room would be charged to the credit card on file for incidentals. I couldn't get out of there fast enough, and will be calling Hilton Honors Customer Service this morning. What a lousy way to treat any customer, much less an Honors member! I sincerely hope this review will keep even one person from doing business with this establishment - they were very unprofessional and discourteous.

Jo, the receptionist at the front, was extremely professional and very kind. Also the lady serving breakfast was very friendly and kind even though I didn’t get her name. I would stay here again anytime I come to Auburn.
