Sehr liebevoll geführtes B&B, ruhig gelegen und doch ist man zu Fuß in 10 Minuten im CityCenter. Es ist sehr sauber und super gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind hilfsbereit und herzlich. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Mark and Linda were the best hosts! So friendly and welcoming! They really take pride in making sure everything is perfect! The rooms are very nice and clean. Very quiet. The breakfast was superb. So glad we stayed here vs staying in a hotel. Only a 10 min walk to town, and the B&B is in a very nice neighborhood. We would most definitely stay here again!

Could not recommend this B and B any higher. Beautiful house,very clean, excellent food, great location and friendly owners. We usually stay in hotel's in Athlone but after staying mithere we will choose Shannonside first. Michael and Evelyn. Dublin.

Very pleased with this accommodation. Hygiene excellent. Friendly and helpful hosts. Very local to town and amenities. Would definitely return and reccomend. Check in is 4pm. Bit earlier would have suited us better so we could have refreshed before going into town for food.

mark and linda very friendly and welcoming.room and bathroom spotlessly clean .tea 'coffee ,water provided in the room.the location was ideal for us. plenty of car parking space near to entrance .stay there aagain if we are ever back in athlone .top marks.

Non era semplicissimo fermarsi a dormire a Athlone: fondamentalmente perché si sarebbe trattato dell'ultima notte della vacanza in Irlanda mia e di mia moglie per il nostro 25º anniversario di matrimonio. Eppure l'affabilità, la cortesia e la disponibilità di questa struttura, con i suoi titolari in primissima linea, non ci ha fatto rimpiangere niente dello splendido trascorso nell'Isola di Smeraldo. Accolti - con una giornata piovosa - prima dell'ora canonica del check-in (cosa che ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli prima della nostra visita a Clonmacnoise), abbiamo fatto il check-out - la mattina dopo - successivamente ad una ricca ed variegata colazione. Letto comodissimo, stanza ordinata e pulita, vista dalla finestra edificante, bagno piccolo ma funzionale. Accessori vari inclusi. Sono felice che alla mia richiesta di «cappuccino» il titolare mi abbia guardato per qualche istante di traverso perché non fa parte della cultura irlandese. E questo diniego vale alla struttura la mia quinta stella!

Linda and Mark are just lovely. We showed up an hour early to our check-in time and Linda was glad to show us to our room. The bed was super comfy, had a great nights sleep. Upon checking out we had a great long chat with Lina and Mark. We met their two beutiful pups Bailey and Jenny. Would highly recommend.

I’m really really disappointed with this b n b. I booked for 29 Nov ( inadvertently non refundable) on *********** and money was taken out on 25th with no changes after that. My son contacted me on 25th to take care of granddaughter as mom’s labour was being started on 27th, 3weeks early for medical reasons. I notified bnb I couldn’t take the room. I flew out on 27th and what started as a “natural” labour start by sweep before being induced later if necessary became a medical emergency that evening. The bnb was extremely unsympathetic and uncaring. I honestly can’t believe anyone could be so unkind to not refund the money as I had given a few days notice. They only offered 25% off on the next booking and only if they could fill the room on this occasion. As if I would really want to pay them more money. I sincerely hope that if they ever find themselves in the same type of predicament as I had that their hosts will be kind and compassionate towards them.
