It's an old hotel. There are some ancient objects in the lobby. The facilities are too basic. There is no hair dryer or elevator. Breakfast is OK. The reception at the front desk was very welcoming. The location is in a small alley.

This B&B is the worst I've stayed in for a month in Athens. The boss lady only knows how to ask for money from guests. It was late at night when we first arrived at the hotel. The elderly and children were already very tired, but the boss lady gave us the room on the top floor. We carried it up by ourselves, and said that they could carry the luggage during the day.
Breakfast was paid separately, and only one or two slices of toast and meat were given. They were disgustingly enthusiastic towards Western guests.
When checking out, they should have carried the luggage, but they refused to help with the luggage rudely. Everyone inside showed me their ugliest side.
They really think their house is great. If I stay here for free, I will never come again!

Excellent location with many restaurants and bars around that are not so touristy. Very central and close to the Acropolis. Good connection to the airport. Great atmosphere and nice breakfast. But they could change from toast bred to real bred.

Positiv ist nur die Lage mitten im Zentrum und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Zimmer besaß einen Schlüssel, den man abgeben musste. Der lag dann an der Rezeption öffentlich rum, so dass jeder Zugriff darauf hatte. Im Zimmer gab es keine Haken, keine Ablage für die Koffer und an der Wand waren Stockflecken. Im Bad war nach dem Duschen alles nass, da der Duschvorhang kurz war. Einen Föhn gab es nicht. Ameisen habe ich auch gesehen. Das zugeteilte Frühstück bestand aus Toastbrot, je eine Sorte Wurst und Käse, wahrscheinlich abgepackt, 5 Oliven, 1 Ei und 1Mandarine sowie abgepackter Butter und Marmelade. Billiger und einfacher geht es kaum noch.

Home from another enjoyable stay at Acropolis House. We had a staggered twelve night stay and enjoyed the comfort of it all. Felt as if we’d never been away, lovely friendly welcome at breakfast from Emannuella and Penny, these ladies work hard providing guests with a good set Greek breakfast, eggs cheese, ham, bread and always fresh cake and fruit. The bedrooms are clean and tidy fresh towels everyday always a good morning from housekeeping staff. I’m sorry I don’t know young man on evening reception name but always smile when we returned after a good day of sightseeing. Hope to be back in future. Perfect setting for historical sites, restaurants, transport and shopping.

The hotel is quaint andfull of character and is in a really convenient part of Athens so that you can walk to all of the main sights. The reception were very nice and booked taxis for us to the Ktel bus station for Delphi and for the airport. It was very hot while we were there and we were glad to have airconditioning
