The staff was very accommodating and gave great advice about city experiences. The breakfast, however, was not good. There was a very limited selection and all things bread/ wheat was extremely dry. No fresh fruit options. There also weren’t any decent juice. The price per night is fairly good, but stepping up their breakfast game would’ve helped a ton and probably earned them a subjective 5/5, but for now it’s an overall 4/5.

A good hotel, with a varied sweet and savory buffet breakfast. The rooms are simple but spacious enough, and equipped with air conditioning and a refrigerator. The bathroom is functional, with a shower and hairdryer. Luggage can be left after checkout. The staff is friendly and helpful. The area is a bit run-down, as are other areas in Athens, and it's a neighborhood populated by immigrants, especially Asians. A 10-minute ride takes you to the center of Monastiraki Square, where you can easily reach the airport by metro. For us, it was a positive experience, and the value for money is excellent.

We had to stay at the Marina Hotel twice, the location and surroundings were bad, both times there was repair work, the noise started early and was disturbing.
