Athens City Center Apartment

I was a guest at this property at the end of September. Strongly discouraged for the following reasons: let's start with the entrance to the building where the door was left permanently open. It was fine during the day, but in the evening it wasn't the best, considering that the area was a refuge for drug *******. The elevator was also used as a freight elevator for the food from the restaurant below. Let's get to the room: about 9 square meters (declared 16 square meters) including the bathroom for 2 adults.. impossible to open the suitcases (2 trolleys approved for Ryanair), impossible to move in 2 in the room, cleanliness at the limits of practicable. Probably not even recognized/authorized by the competent authorities in Athens. We contacted the host of the property explaining that we had a broken balcony handle, that the hot water for the shower came and went, the air conditioning was not working and other amenities (there was no water in the fridge and the coffee pods described in the transaction notes, the shower mat was missing, the reading lights on the bedside tables were burned out, dust everywhere, including the air conditioning, etc.). No response and no action from the host. To close, the elevator was not working on the last night.... given that the property is on the seventh floor. In conclusion: look elsewhere, look for other properties. This one should be rejected, closed down. I promise to also report it to the competent tourism offices in Athens
