Athenian Residences

Property was beautiful. The people were great and did anything we asked. Would 100% go back if I was in Athens.

This place was a gem- perfect room set up for us and our 2 x 18 year olds, walkable to so many historic sites including the Acropolis, flea market and restaurants and bars, and the plunge pool was a great way to cool off after a hot day of siteseeing. The breakfast were huge and we saved the sandwiches for lunch there was so much. Manos and Joseph couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming and lovely. Absolutely lovely.

This hotel was beautiful and so amazing for a family. we stayed in the family suite- they had everything- a kid step stool, highchair, little potty, all the things! Demetrius was so kind and helpful at check in and during our stay. The breakfast offered was huge and a great perk! The only downfall was the music at night in the surrounding neighborhood was a bit loud but white noise helped! It was spotless and the daily service in the room was amazing to come back to. The little plunge pool was an amazing break for my kids to come back to after exploring in hot athens!

Manos at the Athenian Residences took great care of us. The location in Monastiriki is perfectly central to transit, sights, food, and nightlife. There was plenty of room in our suite for our group of seven, and a private bedroom and bathroom for the parents is a plus. The provided breakfast was fantastic. I was surprised how quiet the room was with all the action outside. The pool is more of a cold tub, but my kids loved it. Five stars, especially for the price!

This place was perfect for us. Manos made our stay even better. It is so cute, and the location in Psiri (the hot/trendy neighborhood) was great for us. Restaurants galore and never concerned with safety (in the neighborhood anyway). The place was gated, so very secure. It is small (less than 10 rooms) and has one building that is rustic/traditional Greek housing, and then a new building with very modern units in it. We started in one of the traditional rooms, but due to a nasty foot injury prior to traveling and a subsequent air boot, I couldn’t manage the internal spiral staircase. Manos was able to move us into a very spacious and handicap accessible unit in the new building. It was fabulous. Both units had excellent air conditioning, and the second (handicap unit) had everything you might need to make a meal. Who in the heck would do that with the incredible restaurants right outside the door? Haha, I get it - but my husband and I were looking for the best moussaka in Athens……. They bring a nice breakfast to your room in the morning (that you order the night before). I enjoyed hard boiled eggs, croissants , and incredibly good yogurt every morning. Fresh squeezed OJ, and an espresso machine topped it off. The little courtyard and plunge pool were great- just no time to use it. I highly recommend the place. Cute, kind staff and location in Psiris was great. So close to everything. If you have mobility issues, like I did, the traditional apts will not work for you. That said, they were adorable!!
