As someone who never writes reviews, I really couldn't stand it this time: I took my two children and my parents to travel with me. The Air China flight landed at 9 o'clock. I arrived at the hotel at more than 11 o'clock. I was told that I needed to wait. Finally, I was not given a room until 3:30 in the afternoon. There was no reason, just saying that I needed to wait. The attitude of the front desk was very arrogant and indifferent.
The hotel was newly renovated and still had a certain smell. Travelers with children need to be appropriately vigilant.
The rooms we stayed in were 301, 323, and 319, which were close to the road and the noise was very loud in the middle of the night.
Such hotel hardware and services are completely unmatched with five stars.

I chose this hotel because it looked like a new 5-star hotel. The room was as small and narrow as the corridor. The sound insulation was poor. The TV suddenly turned on in the middle of the night. There was no door in the bathroom. It was inconvenient to stay with my family. The hardware and software were not good. I have never stayed in such a hotel. Bad hotel. I paid for three days and stayed for one night and then left. Not recommended.

we stayed two nights as a couple. very good hotel, new in concwpt and furnishing, nice spa, very comfortable beds, cleanliness and a delicious breakfast. very good position to walk around Athens. offers a very nice view to the rooftop bar and restaurant, also a swimming pool from which you can see the acropolis… I would prefer to come back in the summer season to enjoy this fantastic hotel once more..

I must confess I was a bit apprehensive about my stay at the NYX Athens after reading some of the negative reviews. My experience however was pleasant and really enjoyable. It’s a quirky property with a good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Rooms are tiny but I did like the decor and the balcony on the 8th floor was huge . The pool area was the only let down: much smaller than expected and you need to reserve a spot in advance.

This is a great hotel in a fabulous location only 5 minutes from the metro. The rooms are well designed and comfortable with really great bathroom products. The quality of food is exceptional and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Acropolis makes this place special. The views from the roof terrace are amazing. The pool area and bar are comfortable and the sun loungers are bookable which makes life really easy. What makes the hotel is the staff. They are friendly and are so helpful which really makes your stay special. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Athens.

Nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very nice, once we upgraded (by paying more) to a better room with acropolis views. Cheaper rooms are ok but rather small and dark.
Breakfast was perfectly adequate (the machine coffee was terrible so we ordered proper coffees from the bar, which were charged at 7 euro each. This hasn’t happened to us at this type of hotel before).
Restaurant was ok, the view spectacular. Only problem for us was the music, which was very nice (I’d like to get the playlist) but rather loud.
Spa was fantastic.
All in all a very decent hotel (maybe trying a bit too hard to be hip).
