Driving through on our way to Florida. Child was sick and it was 3am. The lady not only charged us more than quoted made us buy two rooms because we were two adults three children. To stay from 3a to 10a we had to pay for two nasty rooms. Outrageous

Easy access right off the interstate. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were clean and looked newly updated. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. I personally loved the mini waffle maker. The staff were very friendly and I would stay here again if in the area.

I write this reviews as a real person on a budget. Checked in talked to the lady with no problems, came to the room was clean no smells. Only problem the jacuzzi tub which came with the room did not ask was starting to peel in the tub area. Jacuzzi worked by the way. Breakfast simple eggs, sausage, waffles and the usual. No problems food just fine not high on the list but no problems. So yes go there no problems good rate and be happy.

Very comfortable beds and friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again it was very clean morning breakfast was good. The staff was very accommodating and nice. I totally enjoyed my stay. Stay here you won't regret it.

Location was perfect. Right off interstate exit with plenty of places to eat and a Walmart on the same exit. Room was adequate. Had a slight odor and my feet were black from walking in the caroet barefoot. I was not impressed that housekeeping was banging on our door before 8:30 a.m. when checkout wasn't until 11. As we left they were still banging on doors and I heard several unhappy people yell to come back after checkout. I complained, front desk said he was sorry but didn't say he would address the problem. Not sure I would stay again for that reason.

We needed to stop for the night on our way to Florida. We were lucky to get the last room at this motel. It was clean and just off of 65. It also has a free breakfast bar, and I was surprised at all the food options there were available. If you are just needing a place to sleep and shower, this is fine. Again, we just wanted a place that was clean and safe.

Right from our arrival I felt this was going to be a good stay. The friendly and helpful people at the front desk had followed our request for a first floor room and a double queen. There is no elevator to the second floor and we are elderly travelers. The room was surprisingly quiet and very clean. Mattresses could use an upgrade but weren't bad. The breakfast was very nice and served with great care. When I mentioned the hot water for tea could be hotter it was immediately replaced by hotter water by the woman that handled the breakfast area. Nice restaurant just across the parking lot -convenient for the weary traveler. The swimming pool was clean and a cool comfortable temperature on a hot day. We stayed 5 days and enjoyed every one of them.

We reserved this hotel based on our experience with the Quality Inn in Dover, Ohio. Unfortunately the Athens Quality Inn was a disappointment. The good aspects were it was close to several eating places and only three miles to a charming Catholic Church where we attended Mass. It was also clean and had a very nice breakfast. The drawbacks are it is older and not in the best repair., we could not adjust the temperature in the room. The bed we had was horrible, we had a poor nights sleep. The other thing is it has outside corridors. Although the young woman who checked us in was pleasant, she had poor knowledge of the area and could not provide us with the information we requested.

First of all, this is a “Motel” instead of a “Hotel”. Exterior room entrances to rooms and the building was in poor repair. The front desk lady was very rude when we checked in. The fire exit in the lobby was blocked by a couch. We then found our room and the disappointments continued. There was a white smear on one of the bedspreads (who knows what that might have been but it was dried and powdery), someone’s wedding band was on the desk, mold was everywhere and there was a terrible smell in the room. We have stayed in several choice properties and this motel is not worthy of being called a “Quality Inn”. This was an Econo Lodge at best. The only saving grace was we were able to find another “Hotel” to stay in for the night and the company did refund our money.
