I think this hotel must be on the decline. We arrived at 6:20pm after a long day on the Camino, exhausted and hungry. The whole place looked shut but we knocked and eventually someone came and let us in. The whole place was dark and smokey, with no lights on in the downstairs bar / restaurant area. My room had a light that didn’t turn off properly so was shining all night. My shower water was tepid but my friends was ice cold throughout her stay. I was absolutely freezing in the night. Had to put extra layers of clothing on. Not sure what was going on with the heating. The owner was friendly and obliging throughout our stay, and helpful. But I think this place needs some real TLC and a solid clean from top to bottom.

This is a small hotel run by a local family in Atapeurca. . The rooms are clean and comfortable and provide everything you need whilst walking the Camino. It was nice to be able to leave the windows open at night and enjoy the fresh country air . The three course dinner was excellent and the host was lovely .

We loved the interesting old building with hand-hewn beams and hand forged hardware. The views of the village and surrounding countryside were great. The proprietor was warm and helpful. The problem we had was with the powerful cigarette smoke odor in the room. The owners were smokers, lived on the premises, and it seemed that every time they lit up, the smell of smoke wafted into our room somehow. Perhaps this would be less of a problem on a higher floor, and a smoker probably wouldn’t be bothered by it at all, but it really spoiled the experience for me. The shower curtain was pink with mold at the bottom and there were toenails on the bedspread when we arrived, which didn’t improve things. I’d choose a different place if I return to the area.

Nuevos propietarios que gestionan en negocio. Buena comida, precio asequible, menú 15€, varios primeros y varios segundos, postre y café. Si no te convence las opciones te adaptan el menú. Repetiré sin duda eligiendo otro vino de la carta

Very friendly reception, even the email contact with Maria was very nice. The room has a lot of charm, very clean. The bed is comfortable. There are some extras like a bottle of water, sweets and - great for female pilgrims - body lotion. Almost all accommodation on the Camino Frances is clairaudient, so everything is good. The menu should also be mentioned. Very tasty home cooking.

Les chambres sont de taille tout à fait correctes, très confortables et très propres. De plus nous avons très bien mangé et copieusement; Maria et son mari sont deux belles personnes. Adresse fiable à quelques kilomètres de Burgos
