Zero refund of our $970 for the week after we left the first morning not even showering. Climb to attic to see dust ruffle spilling out onto floor, smoke alarm taped up with Saran wrap, mattress pad too small for bed, but the clencher was our anticipated, as advertised gorgeous view of the Columbia. Sit in a grubby upholstered chair with the springs pushing up into your butt, to look out a window that does not open and gaze upon the back of some buildings, a homeless encampment to glimpse a partial view of the river. NOPE We would have been less disgusted had our host simply refunded a portion of our stay so that we would have had funds to find a place we could be happy. It was our first visit from NY to Astoria, we ended up beat feeting out of town.

I absolutely loved this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer than one night! We booked the attic room, and it gave total grandma vibes in the best way. Lacy curtains and tablecloths, turquoise carpeting flowered comforter, the free-standing bathtub. Even a stained glass along the stairwell leading up which is identical to my own grandmother's old house. It was so cozy, the bed and giant lounger sofa were insanely comfortable, the chairs looking out the window toward the water were so nice for morning coffee, and I really enjoyed having a glass of wine in the bathtub at night. Downstairs is equally old-fashioned and great. No check-in desk, just a keypad. We had no issues with parking on the street across from the hotel. And location is right by the Pigeon Steps and only a few blocks away from plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and the water. So cute.

Really enjoyed our room with a balcony and the entire Guesthouse. We did not meet our guesthost in person, but did talk to Candi on phone. Very pleasant. Walking distance to restaurants and downtown. View of the Colombia River. We would stay here again.

This was such a charming and convenient place to stay. Within walking distance to the water/mainstreet/downtown area, free curb street parking. Very well kept cozy little common space in the downstairs area with old antique furniture (admittedly the house does have that old house smell when you walk in but it goes away within minutes and you cant avoid it if you want to stay in such a fantastic antique restored dwelling. Our room was great - comfy and spacious bed, fantastic claw foot bath tub in which I took a very relaxing and luxurious bath. We had a shared but private feeling patio in the back which offered a great view of the bridge, sunset, and downtown buildings. Reasonably priced relative to other options. Very easy self check in check out process. Would recommend and stay again for sure!

Great location at a great price. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. Owner very responsive and friendly. Free parking in front and there was plenty of parking available. I walked to the downtown area - an easy walk. Library, senior citizen center, and other businesses very close by. It's about 4 blocks to the waterfront.

A quaint house with a lot of pretty period features and furniture. We had the top floor, nice view of town and the river. I was with a friend so I was happy to take the futon (very comfy) while my friend took the bed. Both tub and shower, nice to have an option to soak, if only we’d had time.

Wowwwwwwww......so greedy. We had to cancel THIRTEEN days before our stay. On the day of our arrival I called and they were fully booked; no rooms available. They returned half our money. We booked on line and cancelled over the phone so 5 minutes of customer service for them. This is why people book with the chains unfortunately. My husband called and asked if they could do better, like a $50 fee and they said no. You never know what can happen.....don't get cheated.

This Victorian era home really is near the pier, just a few blocks from downtown. Our room on the second floor was small, but clean. Our balcony, which had a small table and chairs, provided a view of the Columbia River. Breakfast is not available due to the ongoing pandemic. However, there is a mini fridge, microwave and coffee/tea machine. It's keyless entry into the house as well as the individual room. We felt quite safe and secure. There is ample free parking. We would stay here again.
