Super hôtel de charme familial dont les chambres ont vue imprenable sur la mer et le château de Chora. Excellent accueil de la part de la famille qui se plie en quatre pour vous rendre service (merci tout particulier à Maria pour les navettes du premier jour). Très bon petit déjeuner très varié avec beaucoup de plats fait maison. Ménage parfait serviettes changées chaque jour. Un plus, Chora et ses nombreux restaurants est accessible à pied de l' hôtel et la plage de Livadi n'est pas très loin en moto ou voiture. A ne pas rater, la croisière d'un jour proposée lors de la réservation, superbe expérience. Merci à tout le personnel du Tholaria qui a grandement contribué à faire de notre premier séjour sur Astypalea un très beau souvenir.

Tholaria is an amazing hotel! This is my second year and will be followed by a third. The room was very clean with a terrific view. It was normally cleaned while I was having breakfast which was idea for me. Towels and toiletries were replenished daily. Lots of breakfast items are homemade and vary daily. The hotel is built on a hillside so there are stairs but quite doable. The gem of this hotel is the family and the staff running it. They can’t do enough for you! They always greet guests with a smile and treat you like family. The hotel is just a short walk from Chora so with an amazing view of the castle. Highly highly recommended!!

Abbiamo passato una bellissima settimana in questo hotel; non posso che confermare le recensioni positive, anzi di più! Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera "Cavo", molto grande e silenziosa, arredata con gusto e con tutto il necessario; bagno con bella doccia e finestrato; letto su soppalco con scaletta, per noi molto bello. Grande terrazza con una stupenda vista sul mare e sulla chora. Proprietari gentilissimi e cordiali, e sempre disponibili. La colazione naturalmente è il pezzo forte dell'hotel, davvero tutto buonissimo e fatto in casa. Peccato solo non aver potuto fare la gita in barca causa vento, ma Astypalia e il Tholaria saranno sempre nel nostro cuore. Un grazie speciale a Bibi, senza di te non sarebbe stato la stessa cosa!

Beautiful hotel with great hosts, convenient location ( 8 min walk to Chora in a quiet location) and spectacular view! The breakfast was tasty with everyday variations. The rooms were very clean. The 2 ladies ( Mrs Litsa and Vasiliki), in charge for the running of the business, were very helpful, glad to serve us in an unpretentious way and made us feel as home! This is a property we highly recommend and we promise to get back!

Excellent boutique hotel in a perfect location. 5 minutes walk to Chora and 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Livadi Beach. The hotel is family run, the owners and staff are very friendly, you immediately feel at home here. Excellent, rich breakfast, international and with homemade local specialties, which are lovingly explained by host Lisa. Always perfect service from the very friendly owner Maria, be it picking you up at the airport, reserving a rental car, taxi or just providing information about good tips. The rooms are very clean and lovingly furnished, you just feel comfortable here, like at home. The hosts of the hotel also own a yacht on which they offer day trips to the offshore islands with the most beautiful bathing bays. This unique opportunity should not be missed. Owner and skipper Mike as also crewmember Mike leave nothing to be desired, with cool drinks, snacks and a sensational final meal. An absolutely relaxed, friendly atmosphere, as if you were out with friends. An unforgettable experience that is unique. We can absolute recommend the Tholaria Hotel, because true hospitality is genuinely practiced here.

Lovely, family-run hotel. Breakfast served freshly with self made pastry every day! The pool is the perfect size for the few rooms. Due to the small amount of rooms real family atmosphere. Rooms made during breakfast, so always a clean room available. 100% recommended.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per 8 notti, ottima posizione , ottima colazione , ottima pulizia, personale gentile ed efficiente. se non si è amanti della Jacuzzi vanno benissimo anche le altre camere. Un ringraziamento a Liza,Maria e Mike e Dimitri, sempre cordiali e disponibili sottolineiamo la pulizia e l'efficienza delle ragazze che si occupano delle camere. Torneremo in questa splendida e magica isola

Todo excelente, desde las habitaciones, las vistas, el desayuno, las instalaciones y la atención del personal y sus dueños, que te facilitan cualquier actividad que uno quiera hacer en la isla. Una estancia soñada, con magnificas instalaciones, llena de paisajes irrepetibles y con una tranquilidad que "preocupa". Cerca del centro que tiene una actividad importante pero tranquila comparada con cualquier otra geografía que tenga esa belleza.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo piccolo gioiello. Ogni aspettativa è stata superata. Arredato con molto gusto. La Famiglia lo gestisce con estrema cura e gentilezza. Ottima la colazione con prodotti preparati in casa Notevole l'esposizione tra il mare e la Chora. Nella nostra esperienza non avevamo noleggiato mezzi ma ci siamo mossi a piedi. Bella l'escursione in yacht di proprierà.
