Luogo indimenticabile , lo recensisco ora perché ne ho parlato e , nonostante sia passato qualche tempo , rimane uno dei luoghi del cuore. Camere suggestive , posto silenzioso e curato , colazione impeccabile con imbarazzo della scelta . Suggestione , bellezza e cura del dettaglio .

Location molto curata in tutti i dettagli, pulizia ed attenzione di altissimo livello (ogni qual volta la camera era libera, veniva rassettata con cambio asciugamani), personale gentilissimo. Struttura Spa di ultima generazione con servizi a pagamento eccellenti. Comodissimo il garage messo a disposizione dalla struttura (al costo di 35€ a notte). Ristorante raggiungibile come n pochissimi passi di livello alto. Gradito l’upgrade in suite senza costi aggiuntivi. Complimenti!!!

Soggiorno di 3 giorni con pacchetto compreso cenone Personale disponibile . Ottima posizione per visita alla città. Le camere sono poco luminose non solo per le finestre piccole ( ex convento) . Bagno non finestrato Manca la palestra ( e’ un 5 stelle) . La spa composta da una piccola piscina e zona per trattamenti e da 2 locali bagno turco e sauna ( no finlandese). Non soddisfacente il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Bellissimo e suggestivo boutique hotel (18 camere) ristrutturato e curato nei minimi dettagli. Personale gentile e attento, dal ricevimento alla sala colazione, alla governante del piano. Ottima la colazione, con spremuta fresca e torte fatte dallo chef sempre diverse. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Ottima posizione per raggiungere a pochi metri il centro , ottimo panorama dalla camera 16 e stupenda la SPA, consigliato il massaggio di Elena. L’unica cosa che posso far notare e’ il materasso non all’ altezza di un hotel a 5 stelle. Per il resto è’ impeccabile.

The temperature this summer in Italy has been in the 90s and this should be no surprise this hotel. When we checked in to room #7, we were asked for our preference in room temperature, which was 20 degrees (C) and our host confirmed this was possible.
Two hours later the thermostat registered the same as when we entered (25 C). I called the desk, and they said give it time. 4 hours after check-in it was still at 25. I asked for assistance. They sent a technician which reported the room was working fine. Really?
When we returned after dinner at 10 pm, the room was at 25 C. I believe the hotel knew that 20 C was never possible due to their inadequate AC system, but they never disclosed this.
The room was not comfortable for sleeping, and if I knew this at check-in I would have left and chosen another hotel. Since I prepaid the room on ********* they could not offer a refund.
I had a bad night of sleep because the room was too hot. In fact, in the morning, when it was 75 degrees outside, the thermostat was still at 25 C.
The property is beautiful, but I also wish their ********* description accurately described the Spa Suites, which can be on two floors with a steep staircase. The bed and bathroom upstairs and the living space downstairs.
I am disappointed that the hotel is not prepared for summer heat, and since I have been traveling in Italy all month, this is the first hotel with an AC problem. So, if you plan to visit in the summer, pick a different place.

What a fabulous hotel! It’s really high end (with prices to match) and definitely worth it. It’s an immaculate property, and the staff is incredible. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I did a few dumb things like leave my window open when I went out and rain streamed in. This was 7 p.m. and housekeeping was on it! They did turn-down service. Some biscotti await in the room. Breakfast was wonderful. Really, they had everything from fresh pastries to charcuterie to eggs, smoked salmon etc. to order. As for the spa, I’d go just for that. It’s built into the old Roman amphitheater and has all the Roman bath circuits plus a massive bath/pool with one end as a whirlpool and also waterfall jets. Places to relax, tea. I spent hours there. My room, 15, had lovely views. The bathroom was cramped. A small shower, no bidet. And there was noise from the bar (but a hallway door that could be shut). Overall, just a wonderful experience.

L’opera di ristrutturazione del sito originario è meravigliosa, Camera bellissima (noi avevamo la n. 1) e staff altrettanto meraviglioso Il pezzo forte rimane però la SPA, ricavata in un antico anfiteatro: io non metto mai piede nelle SPA ma qui ci sono andato due volte. Quanto al “ma”: - attenzione alle molte scale; - vorrei conoscere di persona chi abbia pensato il bagno con parete a vetro totalmente trasparente. Sì, avete capito bene: tutto il bagno con sanitari compresi in totale bella vista…. Suggerirei allora a questo geniale creativo di mettere il W.c. direttamente nella lobby o nel loro ristorante stellato così celebrerà al meglio questa ipocrita liberalizzazione dei costumi e anche del decoro.
