Hotels near Kuro River, Aso

Aso Tenshuku is the best hotel I've stayed at in Aso City. The room was really spacious and clean, with complete amenities including a TV, air conditioning, heating, and Wi-Fi. Most importantly, the bathroom was also large and very clean, with great water pressure and hot water. The owner, Mr. Lai, is a retired ********* gentleman who came to Japan to enjoy his retirement and opened this hotel. He's friendly, easygoing, and incredibly hospitable. On our first day, he warmly welcomed us and introduced us to nearby shops and attractions. We even shared drinks and chatted together. Since the hotel is very close to convenience stores and supermarkets, and local shops tend to close earlier, guests can buy ingredients at the nearby supermarket and cook at the hotel. The beef there is very affordable.

The sauna is very comfortable, there are small crabs next to the cold spring pool, the air is clean, the water quality is sweet, the room is well maintained, we use washing machines and dryers, convenient and comfortable.

This inn was amazing! We even added an extra night. Our room had a view of Mount Aso, and dinner was a BBQ with Japanese side dishes. The innkeepers, a loving couple, were incredibly attentive and caring, especially considering we had a child. The four private hot springs, each with its own unique style, were fantastic. This small inn had everything you could need, with impeccable attention to detail and impeccable cleanliness. Even the slippers we wore each day were labeled with the guests' room names. Staying at the foot of Mount Aso allowed us to explore at a leisurely pace. With the extra day, we also visited Takachiho, ate Miyazaki beef, and enjoyed a great inn!

The location is fantastic for playing golf at various courses around Mount Aso. The breakfast was just right, clean, and delicious, and the dinner buffet was also tasty with a wide variety of options!

The outdoor BBQ space was especially good. I would like to use it again.

The dinner food is very rich and fresh, the breakfast is as delicious, there is Asu Shrine nearby, and the private hot spring is very enjoyable. Definitely come again next time.

The rooms are clean, well furnished and conveniently located, 10 minutes from Azu Station. However, the hotel did not provide information on the arrangements for self-check-in (such as room number and door lock password) the day before check-in. Trip.com The receipt only provides the hotel's contact number, and the call to the hotel is only Japanese, so the speech is not available and there is no information for self-check-in. Afterwards, I learned the hotel's email address from the support service of Trip.com, but there was no prompt reply from the email to the hotel. Finally, I called the front desk clerk of the hotel the night before to get the information I needed.

The best service for riders! The room was spacious, and I was able to park my bike in the inn's garage. There was a coin laundry. There was a well-stocked drugstore right in front, and even food was available, so it seemed like it would be fine even if I got home late. If you're staying in Aso City, this is the place to go.

Even in midsummer, it was comfortable without a cooler. I only took a shower because the bath was ready. There is a hot spring nearby, so I think you should come in. 　Breakfast was western food. It was delicious.
