My partner and I travelled to the Kasbah Tamadot after seeing the BBC series Amazing Hotels, and can certainly say we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful time! We travelled in August and the hotel was only 20-30% full as it was low season. The temperatures were around 30-32 degrees and I think many people don’t travel in the summer months as the temperatures in Marrakesh are around 10 degrees higher. Kasbah Tamadot is in the mountains and considerably lowers the temperature to within comfortable ranges. As a result, we felt like we owned the place! I would highly recommend traveling in Jul-Aug. The hotel was fantastic, with a special mention to the excellent staff who couldn’t do enough for us. The facilities were 5* throughout including the food too. It’s by far the most ‘instagrammable’ place I’ve ever seen! Drinks around the pool were a little overpriced, but the free minibar did make up for this. Would highly recommend to others! Thank you Kasbah Tamadot for a magical week.

This hotel is located in the Atlas mountains just over an hour drive out of Marrakesh but do not let that deter you from visiting because the scenery to be experienced on that drive is simply breathtaking. The hotel is glorious the staff cannot do enough for you and the room classy and very well equipped we had suite 34 which had its own roof terrace and sitting area overlooking the outdoor pool. Top class for every aspect of our holiday the only thing that could be improved upon is the air con inside the hotel restaurant best to eat in the huge new tented restaurant which is situated bear to the tented accommodation and riads . The only noise that fractured the tranquility was that of the occasional child not being kept under control by indulgent parents as unfortunately this is not an adult only hotel i believe it should be. Its pricey here but well worth every penny

We stayed at Kasbah Tamadot for 2 nights at the end of our busy Morocco trip. It was the perfect place to relax. The resort is gorgeous with amazing views. We stayed in the Berber tents, amazing accommodations. I did a hamman spa for the first time, I loved it! I highly recommend staying there.

Absolutely amazing hotel and location. So peaceful, morning treks, lovely food and a stunning pool. The Berber tents with the view is worth the extra. What made it so special are the people who work there, so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help you.

Amazing a piece of carved out paradise. Service excellent, food great especially the breakfast. Dinners small menus but great quality. Pool surrounded by mountains beautiful. Stayed in an ultra luxury tent with porch and loungers with view of mountains. Gardens are lush and tropical. Evenings with a sky full of stars and movie on screen by pool (Casablanca) Day out with Berber guide a treat with an informative man.

Sir Richard Branson has created an oasis in Morocco. His attention to detail is shown with every amenity available. We happened to be blessed with his presence while we were there and he was extremely gracious and kind to all of us.

I cannot thank the team highly enough for an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in, the setting is beautiful, and every detail has been thought of and taken care of. I really hope I get the chance to return!

Went for a weekend and this place is beyond luxurious, getting there is trippy as you wind along the road, and arrive to a place that look very underwhelmed, but then they open the doors and “Oh… wow!” what a beautiful place… super chilled and relaxing stay… the food was AMAZING.
