We had the best time at the Fishing Bear Lodge. It is under new management and they did a superb job. The landscaping is excellent; the rooms are decorated so cute, the beds comfortable and the rooms were very, very clean. The staff was great. Fishing Bear supplies lawn chairs in each room so you can just sit outside and watch the world go by. It was one of our favorite stays on our vacation. Will stay there again.

Quaint Nice Stay Very friendly staff
Rooms were small, but the staff was so kind. Really had a small town feel. We did have to switch rooms because the breaker blew when we used the microwave. We were upgraded to a two bedroom which was nice for having teenagers.

The host was really good, she kept breakfast in the room as we planned to check out early the next day. Small room, but to stay a night it’s good. They could change the breakfast time to 6 AM which would help people leaving to start a travel day earlier. But can’t complain. I liked this place.
