Riverbend Hotel and Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Do not stay in Room 410 or probably any other room on the 4th floor! The room is nice, clean and the hotel has a great lobby but Room 410 is directly under the bar and breakfast areas. At 10 PM we had to deal with the noise of closing the bar and at around 6:30AM the constant clanging and footsteps of people at the Breakfast (this went on for at least 2 hours). My beef is that we were never told that this is an issue and given the opportunity to move to another room that would be more quiet. BAD Riverbend Hotel! Mary was great though.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of June for the annual beach glass festival hosted by the city of Ashtabula. This hotel was in an excellent location. We stayed in a suite that had an excellent view of the famous life bridge that was fun to watch. The hotel is very clean very close to many restaurants that we could walk to. We didn't move our car for 3 days lol. Everything is right there. The hotel has a nice bar on the top floor called the Lift Bar with an excellent view of the bridge and river. The complimentary breakfast is served in this same location in the morning. Awesome place to stay! We definitely will be back to visit.

I booked this hotel & paid for a room with a river view. I called the hotel directly and verified that I’d get a river view room. According to the staff when I arrived, there were rooms available with a view but I’d have to pay additional $, even though my reservation read that I had already paid for a river view. Also, there was no tea in the room. I asked for some tea bags. I was charged for $3 for one tea bag that was supposed to complimentary in the room but was missing. I called to discuss this & was told I would not be charged for the tea. I was charged for it on my credit card. What a disappointment & sham. Paying for a river view room but being cheated out of a river view room and being charged for the ‘complimentary’ tea bags is not good business. Beware: if you book this hotel, don’t be surprised if you do not get what you paid for. I was so disgusted that I left a day early. I like to do business with honest businesses.

5 th floor bar/restaurant with nice ambience and view of the harbor. Hot breakfast included also appreciated .Comfortable king bed room with tasteful decor.

Very nice place to stay. The River view was beautiful.
