What can I say other than perfection, Kate and Buddy super hosts, the bar and restaurant staff excellent particularly Allie who we found to be exceptional a real asset to this business, the young lady chef had a couple of chats with her and the chilli sauce and freshly chopped chillies on the side for my goat curry and my hunters chicken were very much appreciated. The rooms are clean and spacious with the usual tv and tea/coffee making facility and the added bonus of being able to park directly outside your room. Thanks to all at the Flying Fish Stables for making our stay exceptional we will be back. Julian and Anne

We had lunch there with a group from our Globus tour. Food was great, as well as the service. The cold apple cider was delicious; nice beer selection as well.

Excellent spacious rooms with very large comfortable beds- en suite wet room with great power shower. Lovely restaurant with ample choice. Great panoramic views

Perfectly placed with fabulous views of the Somerset landscape, gorgeous in the brilliant sun!! The room was spacious with a wet room en suite.
Critically it had a power shower which makes accommodation for me - the bed was wide and very comfortable

The converted stable room we stayed in for two nights was large, along with a nice sized bathroom and with a separate shower. We slept very well and the room was very quiet. Nice to be able to park our car right outside the room and there was a small patio area at the front with seats. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the menu has some interesting Caribbean influenced dishes. Nicely located in lovely countryside and with good road links nearby (M5 and A303) it is ideal for visiting the many historic houses nearby. Would definitely visit again.

The ambience and the staff were great. The food was okay! What was atrocious was the £18.50 for 2 medium glasses of Malbec. This is a pub not a cocktail lounge not at all happy. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, it’s a great shame! Will not be returning.

Lovely place to stay
Another wonderful stay at The Flying Fish. Always a warm welcome. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food is excellent!
