Excellent spacious rooms with very large comfortable beds- en suite wet room with great power shower. Lovely restaurant with ample choice. Great panoramic views

Perfectly placed with fabulous views of the Somerset landscape, gorgeous in the brilliant sun!! The room was spacious with a wet room en suite.
Critically it had a power shower which makes accommodation for me - the bed was wide and very comfortable

The converted stable room we stayed in for two nights was large, along with a nice sized bathroom and with a separate shower. We slept very well and the room was very quiet. Nice to be able to park our car right outside the room and there was a small patio area at the front with seats. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the menu has some interesting Caribbean influenced dishes. Nicely located in lovely countryside and with good road links nearby (M5 and A303) it is ideal for visiting the many historic houses nearby. Would definitely visit again.

The ambience and the staff were great. The food was okay! What was atrocious was the £18.50 for 2 medium glasses of Malbec. This is a pub not a cocktail lounge not at all happy. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, it’s a great shame! Will not be returning.

Lovely place to stay
Another wonderful stay at The Flying Fish. Always a warm welcome. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food is excellent!

We only had one night here, was a quick stop over, but we absolutely loved it here, and will definitely stay longer next time Buddy and Kate are both wonderful and welcoming hosts. Our room was very clean, and had everything we needed. Our little doggie was made welcome too Excellent breakfast Thank you for a very pleasant stay Mr and Mrs Nolan

I’ve never stayed here, but i certainly would. We cycle a lot in the summer and the flying fish is often our stopping point. The staff are lovely and friendly, the food is top notch and the prices are perfect for the quality and service given. Even after the summer is over and we don’t return on our bikes for a year, the owners often remember us and what we have to eat. It’s personal there, and well worth a visit for the views as well.
