The main advantages are service and food. There is more than one Chinese service staff, which makes telephone and daily communication very convenient. Dinner and breakfast are really delicious, and the price/performance ratio is also very high in Omakase. The hot springs and private baths are also very good. If you are going to Hakone for the first time and want to have a good meal and rest, this is a great place.

The independent hot spring in the room is very pleasant. It is hidden in a bamboo forest. I also recommend the breakfast and dinner at the hotel. If you stay, be sure to include double meals. The dishes will be changed according to the check-in date.

This was a luxurious stay for us. The room was large and very comfortable, the private bath was wonderful, the buffet breakfast was delicious (and offers a variety for vegetarians); in fact, it was our favorite part of our trip and we wish we could have stayed longer. The downside is the hotel dinner is expensive and not suitable for vegetarians, so the hike down the hill daily for meals (and then back up it) was a bit tiresome. Definitely book the free shuttle service to and from the hotel especially if you have luggage, the “hill” it is on is in fact several steep inclines that are difficult for those less than moderately fit. Another highlight was the hotel’s commitment to honoring the UN SDGs and striving to reduce plastic waste. There’s absolutely no reason in this day and age for people not to travel with their own toothbrush and combs. If you happen to need such amenities, they are available for nominal fees, barely worth complaining over, as many reviews did. This hotel may be pricey, but it’s so worth it, and they’re doing some good for the earth, so the stay comes with more feel good feelings. We are already planning our next stay here.

I spent a wonderful night here during New Year's Eve. The waiter barely understands people and foreign languages, but he is friendly and good at communication. I booked a public bathroom first, but then I changed it to a private bath when there was room. My satisfaction improved a lot! The hotel is very close to Hakoyō-Yumoto Station, and the taxi cost was less than 1,000 yen. Later, we couldn't get a taxi and it was very comfortable for us to walk to the station for 15 minutes with our children🏳️🌈

It is one of the best hotel ever visited, the location is great, near to Gora station, direct bus to Gotemba premium outlet, the room is nice and clean with personal onsen, there are 3 private onsen can be used freely if available. There are even hand grind coffee equipment in the room for you to make coffee. Snack, drink, beer and all beverages are free. Their breakfast and dinner are outstanding, the dinner is 8 course cuisine, take almost 2 hours to complete. Highly recommended. Of course all the services come with a price of almost 40000 yen per person per day, but is really worth it. Will stay in the hotel again if revisit Hakone.
