Ashford Motel

Right off highway. King bed was very comfortable. Room could use a little tlc with repairs etc. Overall good stay, and excellent for the price.

Very clean sheets, new towels, very clean bathroom, no strange odors in room. Great mattress.

No power for 4-6 hours. rooms were dead dark. No offer for flash lights. I fell down and hit my head on a chair because of total darkness.

This is a Terrible Place, Unbelievably Filthy Dirtiest place ever. Shame on the owners, & IDK how it passes health inspections? Had more pics but only can upload 8. Got in late (1 AM). Country road, dark & creepy: "Bates Motel meets Friday the 13th." Grounds were at least well-lit. Everything in room 8 was lacking basic cleaning and maintenance. Considered sleeping in the car but sketchy guests talking loudly in parking lot btw 2-4 AM so slept on bedspread. Smell: must, smoke, food (strong) Microwave/fridge cabinet: old, chipped, peeling Armchair: red-brown smears (blood?) Walls: dinged, chipped, dirty End tables: burns, chips, smears (tip: use wet, soapy rag) Wooden TV cabinet: chipped, rickety, cracked Door: beat-up w/mishmash of old paint jobs Picture frame: cracked & damaged Desk mirror: filmy Desk chair: dried white stuff Bathroom floor: filthy (dust, dirt, hair) Bathtub: tan blob (old soap?). Layer of unknown blue-green stains Bathroom door frame: dark brown smear (feces?) Bed: one side rock-hard, one side squishy Light: blinding sunrise came right through thin curtains early in AM - no possibility to sleep in Checkout time: bright & early, 10 AM. I guess they need extra time to not-clean? Overall,what wasn't a straight-up biohazard was still ratty & gross. This place was sickening & should be closed down for a thorough cleaning, maintenance, & furniture replacement. Whoever keeps OKing the rooms should work in a completely different industry. Until then, no one should stay here. Shame on owners.

I think it will be A lot better once all the renovations are done Right it was very quiet Which was really nice
