The Restoration Asheville

I booked us here for Mother's Day weekend and was astonished by the beauty and elegance of the hotel. They really go above and beyond to focus on perfecting the details, even leaving a rose and a note with our super cute picnic/breakfast basket on Mother's Day! The location is fantastic, but I will mention that every Friday night there is a drum circle in the park across the street which is loud and goes for several hours. We found the sound of it disturbing as you can hear it throughout the hotel and it made it hard to relax at the rooftop bar in peace. The bar downstairs had a solo artist play both nights we were there which was a lovely treat. I would gladly stay at this chic boutique again!

The Restoration was a great hotel and we’re so glad we stayed there! It is centrally located and right downtown making it very walkable to everything. There is some noise because of the location but we didn’t find that it bothered us that much and they provide ear plugs. The rooms are really beautiful and all of the amenities are very nice and well kept.  But what really makes The Restoration wonderful is its service. Every single person we interacted with was so incredibly kind. Truly the best hospitality we’ve ever received while traveling. From check in, to the managers to every bartender and to valet, everyone was genuine and friendly. 100/10 service.

Wow!! This beautiful hotel totally exceeded our expectations! We were having some issues with a third-party booking agent and the desk clerk Derek did an outstanding job of helping us through the challenges. Every aspect of the hotel is first class! The decor is beautiful. The room was fantastic and they offer many nice touches like a wine reception, upscale toiletries and comfortable robes and the sheets were very soft.  The hotel manager, Anna was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. If you are looking for a hotel in the downtown Asheville area, you will love this hotel! We have stayed at many nice hotels over the years, and this hotel is definitely an A+.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a concert a the Orange Peel. We loved eating having a roof top drink and enjoying the DJ during cocktail hour in the lobby. There are so many thoughtful details at The Restoration...the picnic basket breakfast, local coffee in the room, attention to detail all throughout the hotel. Also, the customer service was above and beyond and we were very well taken care of. Downtown is a little loud on the weekends, so request a room in the quieter areas of the hotel if that might bother you. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to find a reason to soon.

I have stayed at many of the best hotels within the Americas and Europe and I would put this property in my Top Ten (maybe Five)! The guestrooms (huge) and public areas are beautiful, creative and unique. It feels like staying in a 65 room concierge "level" hotel. with its afternoon wine and crudité and the basket with fruit, muffins and yogurt outside your room each morning is very much appreciated. Staffing (especially Anna Makey) is great and the location is perfect if looking for a very upscale downtown hotel. Only one issue that some may consider a problem are the homeless in the park across the street.

Great location, great experience and great service. I would definitely stay here again. I would also recommend it as a great place to stay if you are in the Asheville area.

This trip was truly unparalleled. While Asheville itself is always a joy on its own, the hospitality experience with the team at restoration completely blew me away. From the moment we arrived we felt taken care of, considered, and prioritized. This was due, in no small part, to the front desk team, Hunter and Anna. Anna checked us in when we first arrived, and any stress or travel worries instantly melted away. And Hunter checked us out, making sure we had the time we needed to get everything together without rushing. Their recommendations were spot on, the vibe was just right. Simply loved every minute of our stay. Thank you guys. Seriously.
