The Omni Grove Park Inn - Asheville

Great service on the club level. John, Kristie, Tim, Mark and Ben were welcoming and provided excellent service.

We had a nice stay, and found the facilities, service, property and view to be very good. There is construction happening as of May 2026 so be alert to that. We booked a Mountain View room at the lower end of their price range. We actually had a “Tree View” of a massive tree 30 feet from our window. You could have a view of the mountains and sunset if you stood at the left side of the windows and looked down the fairway. At these prices we expected an actual Mountain View. The room was comfortable but dated and has seen a lot of use. As an hotel room the Omni is expensive and not a great value, but the price is not out of line for a resort. If your intention is to stay on the property and have a resort experience then I think there is value. If you just want a luxury hotel room you can do much better for a fraction of the price. Also, be sure to look at taxes and fees. You will pay state and county tax on the room as well as the resort services charge. You pay that charge regardless of the services you use. That is about $100 per night on a $500 room. That’s not unique to the Omni but still it adds up. The staff were uniformly professional so I want to be clear that we were treated well. But beyond that the facilities were just not up to the standard considering an entry level room cost the better part of two grand for three nights. That is a lot of expensive ambience

My wife fell in love with this resort. Lots of on site restaurants. Very nice spa. The inside pools of the spa are wild. Lots of rock. Great view from our room of the city but there was scaffolding. There was some upkeep going on.

I had an amazing experience at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville. I did a solo birthday spa weekend trip. The service throughout the resort was truly exceptional. I had an issue with the first room I was placed in and the staff addressed it immediately.. every staff member I interacted with was warm, attentive, and seems genuinely committed to making everyone stay memorable. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, its old so it has a lot of character which to me is as one of the very unique aspects of the place. the spa was nothing short of mind-blowing i honestly felt like i was in heaven for a while. Dont even get me started on the massage. It’s easily one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had. it would be a perfect 5-star stay. But The only area that fell short was the room-service food. Unfortunately, the quality and taste didn’t match the high standard set by the rest of the resort. For a place this exceptional, I expected more from in-room dining. Overall, I am absolutely returning and highly recommend the resort especially for the spa and the stunning atmosphere.

My wife and I booked a 5 night stay in this hotel in May this year. It is an impressive looking and historic building despite the scaffolding which is currently prominent. The staff were without exception friendly and efficient. The room decor is in need of an upgrade and is looking a little tired. Cleanliness was good and room facilities were as expected. The hustle and bustle of the public areas was inaudible in our room. The food in the restaurants was of good quality, but the serving times in the Edison restaurant were unacceptable. We ate there twice during our stay and I ordered the same dish each time, The first time it took a 40 minute wait in a quiet restaurant and we were informed that a trainee was responsible. On arrival the food was very good. We went there again on our last night and this time we waited for an hour and a half as we were told there was an issue with some of the kitchen equipment. Our server was understandably embarrassed and apologetic. Eventually a duty manager came to our table and resolved the situation. This hotel is expensive and trades on its location views and prominent history. Does it live up to its reputation? Visitors should be aware that a stay at this establishment will a pricey experience, and other options are available in North Carolina. Not recommended.

Everything was an excellent experience. The only thing is that I was unaware that you MUST purchase the SPA treatment in order to be allowed inside there to the pool area, hot tubs etc.. Make sure you do purchase the SPA

Gorgeous hotel with excellent service and staff. They go above and beyond to make everything perfect. The views are spectacular and the food was absolutely delicious. The spa is hands down the best in the world! Your will be pampered to your hearts delight. I can't say enough about this place.
