The Residences at Biltmore - Asheville

The spacious and comfortable rooms were appreciated by guests. Its convenient location near downtown Asheville and Biltmore Estate was also highly praised for its proximity to restaurants and attractions.

Condo/ Suite Rental. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. We felt safe and welcomed. We each only had a partial role of toilet paper but housekeeping quickly brought us additional roles, upon request. Plenty of towels were provided. Extra pillows, hand soap, shampoo, tissues, and body wash were provided. We did not locate any extra blankets and the iron and ironing board were removed (there were holders for them in the closet). Washer and dryer provided. Great location. 5 min drive to the gates of The Biltmore. Several restaurants close by, including on-site. Downtown Asheville is a 5 min drive, as well. Full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, 4-slice toaster, and oven. Glassware, dishes, and utensils. Knives, spatulas, serving spoons, full size real coffee maker (not a single-cup). Everything was clean and no streaks on anything. Not even crumbs on the fridge shelves or in the cupboards. 4-person table. The furniture was fine. Not fancy or brand new but absolutely acceptable. Gas fireplace. Our biggest concern is cleanliness and that was achieved. The terms are online. We understood the amenities included only towels and trash removal during our stay. We typically don’t use housekeeping so this was ideal. Room was ready at check-in. Although, online it stated 4pm but literature in the room stated 3pm. It would not have changed our plans. I suggest calling to verify if it’s important to you. We rented a two bedroom. We enjoyed the common room and balcony but only 2 at a time (on the balcony) as there are only 2 chairs. The primary bedroom has its own bathroom with jetted tub and walk-in shower. Again, clean. The secondary has a full bath immediately across from the room. Each room has a tv (streaming capability) and Juliet balcony. There were the normal chips, scratches, scuffs, and a broken tile. Not enough to taint our stay and very likely caused by guests. Everything was still clean and enjoyable. We didn’t locate the gym but we didn’t ask. We also didn’t ask about additional chairs on the balcony, iron/ ironing board, or an extra blanket. * Just like any shared space (condos, townhomes, hotels, etc), remember that walls are thin. Please be aware that your volume at home is likely louder than you think. We could hear heavy footsteps running around and chairs scooting from the floor above. Could also hear a few groups speaking loudly outside our door a few times.

We were here for a week. The housekeeping staff was very attentive. It was a quiet stay up until our last night. Had it not been for the tenants staying above us, our stay would have been quiet the entire stay. The final night was extremely noisy and disruptive from 9pm til midnight and again first thing the next morning.
