This is the worst hotel in all of Ghana. WHEN they have food, it's the same choice with every meal. And the so called world renowned chef seems like he can only boil eggs, heat up Vienna's and make chicken and rice. Not even coffee or water at breakfast even though there is an assortment of tea and Milo on offer. Or any cups to put it in. No hot water in the room for the entire stay and they say that they don't know when it will be fixed. The staff are very friendly and very apologetic all throughout, but unfortunately management has failed them dismally. You need to learn what customer service is about. Even though I'm here for business, I am still a tourist in your hotel.

We feeled unwelcomed upon arrival at 11pm as the receptionist was not expecting us on the view that we booked on line. Thus, our rooms were not ready upon arrival. We had to wait for the rooms to be prepared and when we checked in, we found out that the bedding were not complete as pillow cases and comforter were missing. There was no hot water throughout our stay which is inconveniencing and disappointing. No microwaves and so I had to buy one and sought permission from the manager to use it. Customer service at the restaurant was appalling and prefential treatment of some guest. My overall experience was unpleasant and I would not becommend this hotel. Location is great but a lot needs to be done to lift the standard to an appreciable level.

I had an awful experience at Mawuli Hotel, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. We booked our room well in advance, yet when we arrived, tired and exhausted, they told us there were no rooms left! It was late—almost 11 PM—and I had a 7-month-old baby with me. Despite our booking, they gave our room away to someone else, leaving us stranded. We had no choice but to find an Airbnb at the last minute due to their disorganized system. To make matters worse, they kept sending us emails telling us to “enjoy our stay” and that they were “looking forward to having us”—emails that felt like a slap in the face since we never even got the chance to stay there. This hotel clearly doesn’t care about its customers, and their lack of professionalism caused us significant stress. Avoid this place at all costs!

The staff were on point. Prince, the receptionist was very professional and helped me out with a date change. He was quick to help out and very polite and friendly. Th hotel is magnificent and very relaxing.

For the first night, rooms have to change three times for reason of leaking air conditioners, untidy rooms or bed sheet. The room we eventually used had no light in the bath room and air conditioner was not working. For the two nights we spent there, exactly the same food was served as breakfast.
