Wir sind das 2te Mal im Tamaro. Familiäres 3Sterne Hotel. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Von der Reservation bis zum Checkout waren alle Services mehr als erwartet gut. Zimmer immer sehr sauber. Wir haben den Hochzeitstag gefeiert. Überraschung mit Deko am Morgen vor der Türe. Herzlichen Dank. Das Hotel ist direkt am See im autofreien Lido gelegen. Zur Garage gehts mit dem Hoteltransport oder 7 Minuten zu Fuss. Das angegliederte Restaurant Locanda del Sole war wiederum Spitze. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen ist vom Besten am Lido. Sehr hoher Erholungswert, direkt am Hafen und schnell zu den Asuflugszielen, Ticino Ticket inbegriffen, gratis oder stark reduzierte Öv Tarive wie Bahn, Bus, Bergbahnen, Schiffe im ganzen Kanton Tessin. Wir haben unser Zimmer bereits wieder gebucht für 2025. Sehr empfehlenswert.

We went to stay and it was amazing. I could not thank the owners and staff enough for going above and beyond and making the stay 5*. I felt at home as being Swiss myself and the room was beautiful and immaculate. With the food and the adjoining restaurant on the Lago it was perfect with all dietary needs met and no communication barrier.

Superb rustic hotel, direct view of the lake, with a panoramic terrace and a small interior terrace, the room was spacious and very clean. Nothing to say about the absolutely charming and helpful staff. Lots of restaurants nearby, no need to use your car (hotel parking) and use of Ticino transport. Two small downsides are the swimming pool which is still a 10-minute walk away under the blazing sun! And it would be good to mention that from a certain time there is no more room service! We highly recommend it!

Old and unrenovated hotel, with slightly unfriendly staff (at the reception).
The room was nice with an enchanting view of the lake. The walls were very thin and so we heard everything from the next room.
There was no mini bar in the room.
