The location is breathtaking, completely surrounded by nature and on a hill. The castle is very beautiful, even the typical furnishings and accommodations are welcoming. The spa disappointed me a bit, it wasn't worth paying €10 per person but the breakfast was delicious and rich!
Overall the value for money is right.
Then the girls at the reception were very nice, I had forgotten a necklace and they found it for me and kept it until my return to retrieve it.

Beautiful area vistas with very poor accommodations. Do not get ****** into photos to be ruined by what they try to pass off as a ‘hotel’. We felt sorry for the staff who clearly get it’s a joke working under such conditions. Poor operator for what could (& should) be a tremendous property. At $265/night with zero cancellation (they’ve got this scam down for sure) one anticipates: 1. enough water pressure to handle property’s demands. 2. bottled water in mini bar at a minimum: instead of nothing and outside of breakfast or lunch not available to purchase. 3. bath tub took an olympic hurdler to get into and then there’s the water pressure issue. 4. AC was inefficient and loud so sleep is impeded. 5. Breakfast was an after-thought. You’re far from nearest bar and as a captive audience at this price, you get inedible bacon, old croissants, water infused eggs and warm bottled water. Staff in dining is attentive for breakfast but there was no way we’d eat dinner or lunch. Overall, this place sets a new level of how low the bar is to have a beautiful view get ruined by a miserable excuse of how to run a hotel. Do Not Book! Drive out to see the views & save your time & money but don’t stay at this place.

Soggiornare in questo castello è stata un'esperienza che ci ha lasciato senza parole. La location è da favola: un castello sospeso tra cielo e colline, con una terrazza che si affaccia su tramonti che sembrano dipinti. Il panorama ti cattura il cuore e l'atmosfera è incantata. Le stanze sono eleganti e accoglienti. Si respira un'eleganza d'altri tempi, senza rinunciare al comfort moderno. Il cibo, dall’antipasto al dolce era squisito, preparato con amore e ingredienti locali. È il posto ideale per chi cerca pace, romanticismo e quel tocco di magia che solo la Toscana sa regalare. Ci torneremo, perché certi luoghi restano nel cuore, come certe emozioni che non si dimenticano.

For check in, waiting for over an hour and a half for the room. Highly inadequate room and located in a structure outside the castle. It seemed like an annex for the service staff. Cold with crawling insects in the room. Breakfast was sufficient but the fresh fruit madonia was missing. The scrambled eggs were in a container that made them look like mortar... Too bad because the location is beautiful. I would not return

Absolut super! Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Von der Rezeptionistin haben wir zudem viele tolle Tipps erhalten. Zimmer war extrem schön mit einem grossen bequemen Bett. Tolles Frühstück. Lage traumhaft!
